At home, the default question is still whether a procedure is covered. What it costs, who performs it, and where comes second.

Doctours calls the alternative patient-directed healthcare: the patient is the buyer, sees the price upfront, and chooses the clinician. Doctours starts with hair restoration, the category where price gaps, social proof, and elective timing are clearest. Patients work with U.S.-based coordinators and AI-assisted messaging to vet clinics, lock an all-inclusive price, arrange travel and financing, and receive follow-up care after they return home. Published packages run from $2,200 to $8,690. Every partner clinic is personally visited and credential-checked before it joins the network, and five Istanbul partners hold International Health Tourism Authorization from Turkey's Ministry of Health. Doctours is free to patients because partner clinics pay it for coordination.

Doctours represents one viewpoint in the broader trend of adapting to rising healthcare costs. Doctours believes lower prices abroad, often 50 to 80 percent below U.S. prices, are how the habit of shopping for healthcare starts.
