I travelled alone to Istanbul to get my FUE hair transplant. Since this was my first solo international trip, I was not sure what to expect, but the Heva team more than met my expectations. I am a natural planner, so I wanted to know everything, from who would pick me up to where I would stay to the surgery’s timeline and aftercare. The team provided me with all of this information. They also told me that they could handle everything on my behalf, and I agreed, as this was easier for me, as this was my first time in Turkey. I had someone with me during all of my appointments who would explain what we were doing each day. Most times, I had my rep, Brandon in contact with me, who was just amazing. The receptionist was also very warm and would always make sure I was comfortable. It was summer, so I appreciated how cool the clinic was and the fact that they also gave me a cool drink after each appointment. And during all my follow-up appointments, the doctor would assess how well I was healing and would encourage me to ask questions about my expectations. So, as much as I travelled alone, I never once felt like I was in it alone. It really made a difference.
