Day 1

Arrival

I drove a couple hours to the clinic and was honestly excited to finally do this. They drew on my new hairline and let me help shape it, so I could really visualize how it would look. The whole process felt quick, simple, and way more straightforward than I expected.

Day 2

Procedure

Once we confirmed the design, they shaved my head and got started. The numbing worked fast, they took the grafts, and then placed them to create the new hairline we mapped earlier. Seeing it all outlined made it feel real. The whole procedure was way easier than I thought.

Day 3

Aftercare

Afterward, they gave me meds, aftercare products, and clear instructions since I wasn’t staying overnight. I drove home the same day. I did swell up a bit, but it got me featured in the New York Times, so I call that a win. Super easy process and totally worth it!

My Progress

Every stage of recovery felt like a small victory. From swelling to new growth, watching my hair come back day by day reminded me exactly why I did this.
