I had my hair transplant done one year ago with Hakan team. And I can confirm I am delighted! 1) The overall approach and consultation - very good English and detailed explanation to every topic I have raised. They are not pushing for the most expensive option, but rather explain depending on your condition how to tackle the problem (example - no need to push for maximum hair extract and and population as you may need some at a later stage). 2) The team - Dr Hakan is excellent but you need to also focus on the technicians who are going to do the actual transplant. It’s 6-8h duration and most of the work is done by them. Therefore it’s critical (for me at least) to choose a clinic with their own technicians and not a “rented” team for the day. They use only their technicians. 3) Volume - they have and confirmed on site 2-3, max 4 operations a day. This makes them boutique and operating with their own teams. For me going in a big clinic with 30+ operations a day with rented technicians is really risky! Yet they have some volume and are a proven clinic, not a hair start-up. 4) Post support - excellent! Over a year passed and e still have active WhatsUp channel where I can ask any questions and worries I may have. They are super proactive and ask for updates, how I am feeling , etc. 5) The clinic and hotel - rally new and it is one of the few where the clinic is in the same building as the hotel you are staying at. This in supper important as in the initial 1-2 days is really uncomfortable going outside for much time. For now this is a hidden gem for me. Very quick review to say if your like me and your doing hours and hours of research to find the best hair transplant for your budget let me save you the bother as this is the one. Every aspect of the process has been perfect... really. I was profoundly thinning and I've uploaded the progress pics after one year and one transplant. I'm booking in for my second one to sort out my crown but I'm actually thrilled with the results from just the first one. I never thought it would be possible! 10/10 communication, assistance and super rapid at answering any of your nervous questions. These guys have put the personal touch on the whole process. What really attracted me to Dr. Hakan Clinic in the first place is the limited amount of transplants they do, as far as I'm aware they only do one per day. That's the sort of attention you need, don't accept anything less and don't be fooled by these "hair mills" who promise the world but the techs churn out 10 people a day. I think the results speak for themselves...

I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole experience. I had my hair transplant on April 20, 2026, and I’m currently around 4 months and 8 days post-op. My transplanted hair is already growing, and I’m really happy with the progress so far. With the DHI method, the hair can be implanted more densely, which is great for achieving a fuller result. I’m excited to see how the next few months will turn out!

I spent a long time researching various places in Istanbul to get a hair transplant. I then contacted about four or five different places in Istanbul via wattsapp. Each company were very similar apart from the Dr Hakan Clinic. When I had contacted the other comanies they were very direct, wanted pictures of my head almost immediately and responded within 30 minutes to let me know how many grafts I needed, how much money it would cost etc. They then proceeded to ask me immediately when could I come over and get booked in. First of all I was thinking surely a surgeon hasn't looked at photos of my head and made a detailed analysis in that time. And why are they so keen for me to book a flight straight away. Speaking with Koray at the Dr Hakan Clinic I had the complete opposite experience. He was so helful in answering all questions I had to ask over a number of days. He never once asked any questions that were pressuring and only until I was finished asking all questions did we then proceed to send photos of my head. After about 3 days or so Koray got back to me letting me know Dr Hakans analysis of what my procedure would entail. He let me know how many grafts, what the shape of my new hairline etc would look like. I then went back and forth with him asking alot more questions over the next few days. Again, not once was I ever pressured to book a flight or book the hair transplant. Once I was happy, I asked if I could pencil in a date for both me and my dad as we wanted to get one done on the same day. Another big factor of me choosing Dr Hakan is that they only do two surgeries a day. Which I always thought you would get better care and actually get your hair transplant done by a medically trained surgeon. Which some of the other companies you see doing 50 to 100 procedures a day you won't recieve that bespoke care. Me and my dad travelled from Manchester to Istanbul where we were greeted by a driver that the Dr Hakan Clinic had arranged for us. The driver then took us to our accomodation which was Marriot appartments, in the same building as the surgery. The apartments were beautiful and had everything you need and highly recommend anyone booking them when given the two accomodation options. Day 1 - Stem cell treatment for myself. I recieved excellent care from all the staff there. Especially after I feinted getting my bloods done haha! The whole treatment was great and nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be! Day 2 - We were booked in for our surgery at 7:10am which was the same time as the stemcell treatment the day before. I was keen to learn from my mistakes the previous day and woke up alot earlier to get a good intake of food and water on board. We went to the surgery and met Dr hakan, Koray and the team at 7:10am. We firstly got our bloods taken from the nurse which was all routine and perfectly fine. We then got alot of pictures taken and then afterwards got our heads shaved. From there we sat in with Dr Hakan and Koray to which they designed our new hairlines to a really quality natural look. Once we were happy we then proceeded to the operating theatre. I firstly lay on my stomach where the numbing needles where applied to the back of my head. The numbing needles do hurt a bit but nothing you cant handle!! The extraction took 3 hours and the implanting around 4 to 5 hours! I was comfortable throughout the whole thing. The doctor contructed the hairline and his team followed on with the back filling. Koray and the doctor were constantly popping in and out to see if I was ok. The whole team was brilliant and I felt in great care the whole time. Day 3 - We went back the next day for bandage removal. Again the care we recieved was second to none and I cant praise the doctor and his team enough from start to finish. We then got given all of our aftercare stuff we needed. They demonstrated everything we needed to do along with giving us tutorial videos. It was a five star experience throughout the whole thing to which we felt very comfortable all the way! I would recommend Dr Hakan and his team to everyone. I thought about it for a long time and now that I have done it can only think why didn't I do it earlier with the experience I have had with Dr Hakan! Looking forward to the results!!!

Nearly a year ago, I received a hair transplant at this clinic with very high expectations. Unfortunately, I was somewhat let down by the service I received. I purchased the stem cell hair transplant package of up to 3,500 grafts. Firstly, I believe the clinic had moved to a different hospital during my visit, as the Instagram videos were nothing like the place where I had my transplant. The rooms were very small, and staff were constantly bumping into my feet during the procedure. On the day of the operation, everything felt extremely rushed. I had my bloods taken, stem cell treatment, PRP, and the full transplant completed in nearly under four hours. This may have been because it was a Friday and they wanted to finish early, but it also made me question how many grafts were actually used. I felt the medical team lacked professionalism during my transplant. Two of the women assisting the technician would not stop laughing, singing, and talking loudly throughout the operation. This was very uncomfortable, as they were right beside my head the entire time, and it made it difficult to relax. I also required repeated injections of local anaesthetic, as I could feel the implant needle quite a lot during the procedure. There was a massive language barrier with the medical team; although they did speak English, it was still difficult at times to properly express how I was feeling during the operation. Dr. Hakan himself was pleasant enough, but I felt that once I paid the full amount in cash before the operation, the standard of care and attention noticeably dropped. My hairline was around a Norwood 2, with some recession in the temple area. When discussing my new hairline, Dr. Hakan was very dismissive about doing any work on my temples, even though this was something I really wanted done, as it is crucial for framing the face. He then stated, “You don’t want the same hairline as a Black man,” which I found quite ridiculous. He eventually agreed to add some grafts to thicken the temple area, but not to properly improve it. At this point, I felt very frustrated, and if I could go back, I wouldn’t have gone ahead with the procedure. As for my results, I feel they are not great, especially when compared to friends who went to different clinics and had worse hairlines than mine. My transplant appears very thin, which has left me disappointed, particularly as I didn’t require many grafts to begin with. Lastly, the “luxury hotel” I was placed in was terrible. I stayed for four nights, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable — like a rock — which is not ideal when you are required to sleep sitting upright for three days. The staff were also very unpleasant and even attempted to double-charge me when I was leaving, which really put a dampener on my experience (Hilton). In the end, I only received 2,400 grafts, and I feel that what I paid was overpriced considering the level of service and organisation provided. I do hope my transplant continues to improve over time, and I will still send after photos to the clinic. However, please don’t be fooled by this clinic’s Instagram or Trustpilot reviews — I honestly believe you would receive far better care if you were an influencer. If I could go back in time, I would not have selected this clinic, especially if you are from Ireland or the UK. I am a 25-year-old Irish man who worked hard to save $4,500 for this operation, placing a lot of trust in the clinic and travelling alone to a different country with high expectations. It’s difficult to write a review like this, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to receive the standard of care that I did. I hope the clinic sees this review and begins treating every patient to the same standard as those reflected in their Trustpilot reviews. Ultimately, this was a risk I knowingly took by travelling to Turkey.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Exceptional Experience from Beginning to End — Highly Recommend Hakan Clinic** We traveled all the way from the United States to Turkey for our hair transplant procedures at Hakan Clinic, and I can genuinely say that the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. Transportation was arranged for us, and we stayed at the Marriott, which is located in the same building as the clinic. This was a huge advantage and made the entire process unbelievably convenient. Each morning, we could simply leave our hotel room, go directly to the clinic for our consultation, procedure, follow-up care, washing, or dressing change, and then return straight to our room without having to worry about transportation or traveling around the city while recovering. What impressed us most was that the care did not end when the procedure was finished. The price included daily follow-up visits, checkups, hair washing, and dressing changes until the day we departed Turkey. We felt extremely well cared for throughout the entire process. There was never a point when we felt like we had been left on our own to figure out what came next. The nurses, technicians, reception staff, and everyone we encountered at Hakan Clinic were absolutely wonderful—professional, attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. The clinic itself was beautiful, clean, modern, and extremely well run. The entire staff made what could have been a stressful experience feel comfortable and surprisingly easy. A++++ across the board. I especially want to recognize Irem, who was truly exceptional. She helped coordinate everything for us from more than 5,000 miles away before we ever arrived in Turkey. Traveling internationally for a medical procedure naturally comes with a lot of questions and some anxiety, but Irem made the entire process feel seamless. Every question we had was answered promptly and honestly, and we always knew what to expect. Once we arrived, she was every bit as wonderful in person. She always seemed to be smiling and had an incredible ability to make us feel welcomed, relaxed, and at home despite being thousands of miles away from the United States. She wasn’t simply someone coordinating appointments—she genuinely seemed invested in making sure we were comfortable and had a great experience. Irem was truly the icing on the cake. I have been so impressed with our experience that I have recommended Hakan Clinic to virtually every friend who has asked me about having a hair transplant. Two people I personally recommended have already made the trip to Turkey and had their procedures at Hakan Clinic, and both came back describing the same exceptional experience we had. Let me start with the most important thing ... the final result. I had my surgery in June 2023, and it's now March 2024. Nine months have passed, and I am more than excited about the result. I had 3600 grafts implanted at the front and temples, and it looks really great. The shape of the hairline looks natural and the spacing and angle of the individual hairs are good. I'm blond and have very fine hair - and I was told that I didn't have as many double and triple grafts as people with thicker hair, but that doesn't seem to have made a difference for the result. My hairdresser (who's French and gay haha) thinks it's turned out really well. So I take that as a compliment. As for my time in Istanbul, I have noting put praise for the team. Dr Hakan and Koray Gur, his assistant, were very friendly and always made me feel safe and comfortable. The team who did the actual surgery were all very professional too. I'm not going to lie, parts of the 7 hour surgery were painful ... especially the anaesthetic. But all worth it in the end. The team also supplied medication for the healing period, as well as Finasteride for 9 months. I did the package with 4 nights at a top hotel + the aftercare package with shampoos and serums etc. I don't know if the care package was strictly necessary. You can find equally good products individually, but it was good not having to think about it. It was great having 4 nights in Istanbul. I never felt rushed, and felt I had time to heal. I didn't leave the hotel after the surgery (it was summer and very hot). But room service was great, and there was a shopping centre in the basement of the hotel. The followup has also been beyond expectations. Koray has been available on WhatsApp whenever I needed him over the last 9 months to answer questions. He's also reached out now and then to check the progress. It was especially nice to have his support through the first few weeks and months when you shed the hair, and it all feels a bit scary. I did several months of research before I chose Dr Hakan and chose him from a shortlist of around 10 clinics. His focus on natural looking hairlines, as well as the overall package were the some of the deciding factors. I came across the clinic here on Trustpilot, so I hope my review can be helpful for others.

In January 2024 I had a hair transplant at Dr. Hakan Clinic in Istanbul, and I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing. First off, the clinic arranged for my pick-up from the airport, which set the tone for the seamless service that followed. One of my main concerns was the ease of getting to and from the clinic, but this was taken care of beautifully—Dr. Hakan’s clinic is conveniently located in the same building as the Marriott Executive Apartments Istanbul Fulya, where I stayed. This hotel was fantastic—great staff, an amazing atmosphere, and a prime location. But the best part was that it’s right in the same building as the clinic! This made it incredibly easy for me to attend follow-up appointments and post-surgery care sessions without needing to worry about taxis or transportation. The hair transplant staff at the clinic was wonderful. While not all of them spoke English, the main contact person did, and they were very helpful throughout the entire process. I stayed in Istanbul for two weeks, and during that time, the clinic took excellent care of me. They handled all of my post-surgery care, including washing my head daily until day 10 and helping with the removal of scabs. By the time I flew back, my head looked great—no signs of an open wound, which made the journey home much more comfortable. If you're considering getting a hair transplant in Canada or the US but are hesitant to try one in Turkey due to some horror stories you've heard, I can confidently say you won't regret choosing Dr. Hakan Clinic. For a fraction of the price you'd pay in Canada, you can experience a first-class treatment: from the flight to the hotel, and most importantly, the hair transplant itself. I’m writing this review 8 months post-surgery because I wanted to wait until my results were in, and I couldn't be happier. I now have a full head of hair that looks completely natural. I highly recommend Dr. Hakan Clinic if you’re considering a hair restoration procedure in Istanbul. With so many options out there, it can be overwhelming, but this clinic truly stands out. Hello, I am from Germany, 52 years old and have been suffering from hair loss for decades. After a long period of research, I decided to consult the hair expert (Clemens Weber). He accompanied me in my search for the right clinic, stay and care. Which worked out excellently! But now to the actual assessment of the Dr. Hakan Clinic. Why Dr. Haken? Because I had several doctors to choose from. I had looked at pictures on Dr. Hakan's Instagram page and I liked them very much. Dr. Hakan and his team gave me a sense of security from the very first minute. A natural hairline was extremely important to me because I wanted to avoid a reaction like "look he had a HT" and I have seen some accidents at Istanbul airport! The team and Dr. Hakan took a lot of time before and during the procedure to fulfill this wish. There was a preliminary examination and my heart, blood pressure and condition were also checked during the operation. The team carried out the operation, while Dr. Hakan was very often present to check on me and the team and their work. During the operation, I was asked very often by the team and Dr. Hakan whether everything was OK. As I was going to have up to 5000 grafts, I decided to have two days of surgery. Which, by the way, should also go into a super session on one day. I felt a little weaker on the second day and this was also taken into consideration. In the end, 5300 grafts were transplanted! Of course, I can't say anything about the result after a week, but I'm really very satisfied with Dr. Hakan's clinic. Even after the operation, Dr. Hakan and Mr. Weber are always on hand with help and advice. I would use the clinic again at any time and can only recommend it in terms of service. If you don't want assembly line work and individual support, this is the right place for you.

When looking for a clinic to do my hair transplant, I was first in contact with many of the large, well-known clinics that have large followings on social media — however, I was not impressed with the results of their patients, the results were not natural looking. Within minutes, I was in contact with Koray, who was super helpful and knowledgeable about all of my questions. We chatted for a couple of weeks, and by then I had booked my flights and accommodation a month in advance; Koray’s kindness and knowledge is one of the reasons I felt at ease about choosing Dr Hakan Clinic. Upon arrival in Istanbul, getting from the airport, to the city, to the clinic was a breeze. On the day of my procedure, I met with Koray and Dr Hakan, we went over my scenario and plans for the procedure, and then went into surgery. The entire team was very hospitable and professional, the experience of the procedure was positive and relaxed. The hotel/accommodation was next door to the clinic, so transportation was not a concern. Dr Hakan and Koray give me a list of after-care steps to follow for the period after the surgery. I am about 6 weeks post-procedure, and I am in consistent communication with Koray, who answers any questions I have. I am looking forward to my results, as well as sharing them with Dr Hakan. I also look forward to possibly having another procedure in the future. I would recommend Dr Hakan Clinic and am pleased with my decision to go there.

Extraordinary results with a natural outlook! I have been almost searching for two years to find the most suitable doctor to fulfill my expectations. After seeing the results of both hair transplants, and restorations of the poorly transplanted hair revised by Dr. Hakan, I decided to have a consultation with them. From the beginning, all the staff, including Rumeysa, Koray, and Dr. Hakan, were very kind and informative about all the procedure steps. The surgery took about 8 hours, and I was all fine during the procedure even though I had a low pain threshold. After the operation, they showed me the process of caring for the newly transplanted hair, and everything went well. They answered all the questions I had through Whatsapp whenever I asked. I finished 4.5 months and waited to write a review until I saw the initial results. Even though it is still too early, I had extraordinarily successful results regarding density and naturalness (everybody says real growth starts after four months). I must admit that I am a very anxious and thoughtful person, which led me to postpone my hair transplant operation from 2017 until I was sure that I wanted to proceed with it. After conducting an extensive search, I found some reassurance in Dr. Hakan’s clinic and came across many positive reviews. Once I communicated with Mr. Koray (the doctor’s assistant) and received his tactful, transparent, and honest answers, all my fears vanished. With Mr. Koray’s assistance, I was able to make all the necessary reservations and appointments. From the moment I arrived at the clinic, I cannot express my sincere gratitude for the professionalism and care that the doctor and his staff provided during my hair transplant procedure. I felt I'm in good hands. The day of the flight you already have a text messages and videos regarding your hotel, taxi, clinic location and time.. (Rumy, Head of logistics operations, is an experience and professional as it gets). As for the crew and clinic, here you'll get a personal experience (only 2 patients at a time, and only 4 max a day) That way you can get the attention needed from all the crew including the Dr. himself, which is with you from the first step on. I had some complaints about water dripping from my head (there is a stage in the process that they need to get the head clean). And also that sometimes I felt that I was needing more information about what is happening in the moment (in English). But when I asked my questions they were more than happy to answer and make me feel like they wanting to help. In my specific case I finished the operation and got back to the hotel, and after I sent a photo of my head (they ask you to), they thought that I might have some suspicious parts. So they sent a taxi for me, took another look and made sure that I'm all good (everything was on there personal time and expenses) That shows that this professionals care about what their doing, and more importantly about the patient. Overall I had an amazing experience, I recommend everyone to go and probably I send people that I know to do the treatment there.

I am a 40 years old Italian man. I have performed a mega session with over 6000 grafts in two days at the Hackan clinic on January 2024. I couldnt have chosen a better clinic. My case was not an easy one as I was an advanced nordwood 5, almost 6. After one year I can say I am very satisfied. They have been able to cover the whole area with natural and cautelative hairline in line with my age and with an overall good density. I was worried about my donor given the huge amount of grafts, I also experienced some shock lossbut it recovered perfectly and it doesn't look that so many grafts have been extracted . Actually it seems I have still have donor capacity for future needs. All the procedure was painless apart form the anesthesia procedure which was a little painful but ok at the end. The team was great and koray and Dr Hackan were carefully following each phase of the surgery. I had a 4400 graft hair transplant in February 2023 it's been 8 months and I am seeing great results, I booked an appointment in December for the second transplant with Dr Hakan and his helpful colleagues. I was a Norwood 6 and now have good frontal and mid-scalp coverage. Looking forward to seeing the results of the crown.
