Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)·3,000 Grafts·No Shave Fue

Experience was good, I can recommend this place. Consultation using WhatsApp worked well and the prices were competitive. All my questions were answered. The hotel they arranged for me (in the same building) was perfect and so convenient. Airport transfers were professional and with luxury cars. I paid a deposit for the transplant and the rest was in cash which I brought with me to Turkey. All the staff were professional and attentive. In person consultation went smoothly, they check quality of hair using a device and draw new hairline on the head. Shaving of the hair by the girls could have been better - they left some mistakenly, but I resolved that myself. Impeccable clean everywhere as you expect and very modern facilities. Even say state of the art. Transplant was done by an all female team and they were amazing. Reassuring, always checking on me. The first injections using a device were unpleasant - the neck, around the ears and forehead. Then more injections using another method, these were the worst. After maybe 10x injections I couldn’t feel anything and they continued with more injections. Head was like concrete to touch even 1-2 days after, it was so hard. Transplant went well and it was repeated the next day (I had two back to back, my choice). Second transplant took longer and my lower back was sore by the end, laying still in one position. Stopped once to have a pee. After the transplant dressings were applied and these helped to absorb blood and other liquids. No noticeable swelling. No need for headband. Sleeping on my back was uncomfortable, not my normal position. Head often sticking to protective blanket that the clinic gives you, that is laid on the pillow. After maybe 5 days I slept on the side. Drugs given by clinic helped. I prepared in advance with biotin tablets and hair serums etc to improve my hair quality and health. Still using 6 months later along with biotin etc shampoo. Removal of the bandages was a fear I had, thinking dried blood etc will make it painful and difficult. In fact there was no such issues and the girls made it easy and painless. For aftercare, I used the special shampoo’s the clinic gave me, one lasted 3 months. Scabs completely fell off after 8 days. If there is any criticism then it’s the follow up after care, almost zero. Any was initiated by me, asking questions. Clinic always answer almost immediately, but I was expecting them to check in on me regularly. My head/ scalp was purple colour for approx 4 months after the transplant, and most of that period it also felt different, hard on the surface. Majority of transplant hair fell out but then grew back. Was the hair transplant a success? Well my donor hair grew back well but I have some gaps in my “new” hair, the hair coverage isn’t thick - but I had a huge bald area to start with. Now 7 months later and new hair is still growing from my scalp so who knows how it will look in 12-18 months
