So - after endless thoughts, much contemplation and a lot of hesitation I decided to look into doing a hair transplant - I searched the internet and found Blue Magic that caught my attention out of all the other hair transplant clinics out there. Upon reaching out Which was easy via whatsapp - i was connected to Cybele from Blue Magic who helped me maneuver through and out of my fears and convinced me to do it. After confirmation I was put on to Walter who guided me from start and is still my guide and contact up till now 13 days post operation and I’m feeling great. All I had to do was book my flight and provide him with the info. The Experience: Upon arriving to Istanbul for my very first time I was a bit lost within myself and questioning my decision a little but then a guy called out my name at the exit and guided me to a luxury van that transported me to a 5 star hotel in Florya. A bit of a misunderstanding took place as Walter had upgraded my hotel and hadn’t updated me but we got through that hurdle and my apologies to driver Mehmet who I gave a pretty hard time. The hotel was amazing Crowne Plaza Florya thanks Eiden and the food at their restaurant I believe it was Otrix or something like that was absolutely delicious omg. Operation Day: Operation day I was picked up from the hotel at 7:50am and taken to the clinic - I met with doctor Fatih and his team Selma and kurpa who were very friendly and informative. As the procedure was about to start I questioned myself again (what the hell am I doing?) The nurse then began to give me the anesthesia to the donor region - this was painful yes like a bee sting - the nurse assured me that it will only be a couple minutes and I will feel nothing after - I bore with the few minutes which were brutal and then I felt nothing after but I was wide awake. They worked on me for more than 7 hours and I felt nothing whatsoever. It felt almost like sitting in an airplane seat on a cross Atlantic flight - slight discomfort from sitting so long - but the operation area I felt nothing at all. Second day was the same - slight pain when applying the anesthesia and nothing after that - actually the second day I felt more relaxed for some reason - I assume it’s confidence and knowing what will happen unlike the first day. Selma was amazing and Doctor Fatih was very friendly and made me feel at ease. The following day was wash day and thats it process was done. Post Op: I thought I was done but that was only at the clinic - then came the post Op procedures and here Selma and Walter played their part in educating me and guiding me through every question I had day or night. I had to use one of those airplane pillows for the first 10 days and use pads to soak in the bleeding for the first few days - but absolutely no pain - discomfort mostly from having to use the travel pilow but no pain. Conclusion: Ultimately and so far 13 days post Op - I am comfortable and Walter is still in contact with me almost daily which is excellent customer care and service. As for the procedure, It was seamless the team at Blue Magic were professional and really nice people. I would advise anyone who thought of having a hair transplant - don’t hesitate just do it - really there is no pain besides the anesthesia part and nothing to worry about these people at Blue Magic know what they're doing and so far I can say I trust them pending the ultimate results which are guaranteed by the company. Walter is still in contact and seems like he will be until I reach the final result. Thank you Blue Magic.
