Chaum (차움) is the anti-aging and preventive-medicine centre of the CHA medical group in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is run by the Sungkwang Medical Foundation and opened in 2010 as a 'life center' combining Western, Eastern and integrative medicine. It occupies the second and third floors of the PNPolus Building at 442 Dosan-daero, a building it shares with House of Shinsegae. Alongside health check-ups and outpatient departments, the centre runs specialised clinics, and this profile covers its skin services.
The Dermatology & Plastic Surgery Clinic (피부성형클리닉) on the second floor offers laser and injection treatments for pigmentation, acne and acne scars, redness, scars and hair loss. It also offers CHA CELL ON, a skin-analysis programme developed by Chaum, along with skin boosters, Botox, fillers, collagen-stimulating injections and ultrasound, radiofrequency and thread lifting. Its CHAdiform procedure grafts tissue-activating cells separated from the patient's own fat. The clinic page says a dermatology specialist prescribes each programme, but the doctors it lists are Prof. Jin Seok-in, a general surgery specialist, and Prof. Baek Seung-jun of the plastic surgery department.
The Evercell Skin Care Clinic on the third floor, next to the Hair Spa, runs aesthetic skin-care programmes. Its signature programme combines MTS micro-needling using stem-cell culture medium with FMS, a low-frequency facial muscle therapy, and focused-ultrasound (HIFU) care can be added to its regular programmes.
International patients are handled by the International Healthcare Center. Bilingual nurses interpret during consultations, appointment scheduling and check-ups, and medical coordinators speak English, Chinese and Russian. The skin clinic is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00. The nearest subway exit is Apgujeongrodeo Station exit 4 on the Suin–Bundang Line, about 760 m away on foot.
