Had micro pigmentation done couple years before surgery, missed having my hair. 4400 grafts - 3900 from donor area, 500 from beard. Surgery was on Friday. Today marks the 3rd day. Had my first wash yesterday. It’s currently Monday in Turkey and I’m staying to explore until heading back to the states on Wednesday. Ngl, surgery was a very uncomfortable experience, but it’ll be worth it in the end! Let the journey begin.

Hello, just had my 1st hair transplant just today, And want to share some of what I experienced. They picked me up at 9am into my hotel, arrived at 9:25am at the clinic. I met helin they’re manager discussed everything about everything how many grafts I needed to fill up the hairline they say ita around 4000. Etc In my case I needed 2 hair transplant 1 for the crown and for the hairline. Im 39yrs old they told me that I needed to use minoxodil to prevent from loosing much more hair Btw I paid for the hair transplant the another for the prp.( they accepted cad just to let you know) Once I already paid so the 3 surgeon/ technicians prepaired everything getting blood samples and doing drawing hairline if I was ok with it. I didn’t get the surgeons/tecnicians names (i will ask once I get back for the washing).

After extensive research, I settled on Esthetic Hair in Cancun, Mexico. I'm ecstatic about my decision! From the price to the process to the procedure, everything worked out great. I'm so glad I opted for Esthetic Hair and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. First though, I'll address the slight hiccups I experienced. Esthetic contacted me before I left the US to tell me their driver would meet me at the "Friends and Family" terminal in Cancun. As soon as I left US airspace, my phone wouldn't work. No calls and no internet. I realized I didn't have international data/cell plans. So, when I arrived, I went through Customs and ended up at the "Taxi" Terminal. I waited for 3 hours for the Esthetic driver to show up. I had no idea there were multiple arrival terminals. With no working phone, I couldn't contact Esthetic. The guards at the doors would not allow me to re-enter the terminal, so I was stuck. I had to pay a taxi to take me to Esthetic Hair. I knew it was a rip-off, but I had no choice. I was dying in that heat. So, pretty much everything after that was A+ clinic/procedure-wise. I was greeted by Helin after getting to Esthetic. He's awesome, speaks perfect English and is very personable. Just a great guy and incredibly nice. He realizes patients are apprehensive, stressed and a little out of sorts. So, he really calmed me. He explained what happened and how the driver missed me. I waited at the clinic for the driver to come back and he took me to the hotel which is within sight of the clinic. Check-in at Hotel Mura was easy and my room was very nice. My only problem was that my room did not have drinking glasses, paper or pen/pencils. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, but I managed by using Google translate. Pen and paper would have been easier especially when ordering food from a nearby restaurant. I thought there would be a few more menus or restaurant coupon-type ads at the hotel, but no. There was only 1 from a local pizza shop. Anyway, the next morning, the Esthetic driver picked me up and took me back to the clinic for the procedure. Helin greeted me and after some paperwork, he guided me through the process and gave me a general idea of what to expect. He asked if I had breakfast. I was supposed to but didn't because the restaurant at the hotel doesn't open until 8AM. My procedure began at 7:30AM. I had no way to eat and had no idea where I could even eat anything anyway. I hadn't had the time to get to know the area around the hotel yet. Some input from the hotel or clinic would have been nice in terms of where to get food. It turned out that Doctor Amir would be my doctor. My surgery was about 6.5 hours long. I received 3,700 grafts. Amir was/is amazing! He was gracious, personable and very meticulous. Just an all-around good guy and an excellent surgeon and expert at transplants. HE is the reason I would go through all of it again. He's a rising star in the industry. During the transplant he was just so focused, meticulous and calculating. I felt at total ease with him and the nurses/technicians. I absolutely recommend him and can tell that if he isn't already in-demand, he will be. He spent at least a good 35-45 minutes drawing my new hairline and explaining things. After that, I was taken into the procedure room and the 2 nurses/technicians gave me the local anesthesia. I won't lie, the shots are horrible. By far, the worst part. They hurt. On a scale of 1 to 10, they're an 8 or 9. But, the nurses made it more bearable. They were excellent. There's a slight language barrier with them, but I was able to communicate and get by. They were awesome, personable, gentle, caring and helpful. Secondary to that, the pain isn't nearly as bad when your nurses/technicians look like even more beautiful versions of Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek! So, the operation went by quickly. I slept off and on throughout it. About 30% of the time. During my research, some suggested that there was a slight language barrier. There was at times, but again, nothing that wasn't easily overcome. I had no issues with that. We took a lunch break. This was my second hiccup. I was starving, and was given 2 Panini-type grilled cheeses and water. I really appreciated it, but truly, the grilled cheeses are not good at all. I ate most of them though because I hadn't eaten since 8 PM the day before and had no idea if I would eat again that day. Back to the procedure room to finish up. Afterwards, I was wobbly. Not much, but enough to know that I needed to sit and chill for a bit. The nurses bandaged me and I sat in the clinic lobby collecting my wits. They brought me a chicken sandwich and water. It was WAY better than the Panini grilled cheeses. WAY better. Something besides water would have been nice too. Anyway, overall, Esthetic Hair gets an A+++. Their work is life changing and I am forever grateful to them!
