My honest opinion is this - the clinic itself is dated, they do not run under the name “Hair Medics UK” that is a body which presumably does the marketing and sales booking. I can’t lie, the procedure itself felt slightly rushed and not much consultation was given, it was literally filling out a lengthy disclaimer, before a 5-10 minute chat with the surgeon, Dr Bashar, who drew on my hairline (which I was convinced was wonky and made him redraw it twice, but I underestimated the uneven receeding I had experienced) The procedure itself was relatively quick. I had two-three technicians extract the folecules from the back (which was very uncomfortable facing the floor for two - three hours) before the surgeon came in and made the incisions and the technicians then transplanted the hair in to those. I admit that for a very long time I was skeptical that I had made the wrong decision going with this firm. Right.... Now on to the good stuff.... It is roughly 8 months on since my procedure and honestly I don’t think about my hair anymore. I have very fine hair so I was always worried the density wouldn’t be good enough, and when wet, it does look thin. However it is such a marked difference and overall very nicely shaped hairline, that I am very happy with. I would recommend this clinic, despite my previous comments, because overall I am very happy with the result and still have a number of months before the final result. Don’t let the price deter you, it is cheap, and it’s not flashy, but ultimately it is not a con and they do no what they’re doing. I recently got FUE procedure done with Motion Clinic. Motion Clinic is still very responsive pre and post op. The manager, the doc, the nurses were all very nice and made the whole experience as comfortable as it could be for a foreigner. I highly recommend motion Clinic. Hope to see good results with it. Before this I had read many threads on here so I thought I’ll return the favor by posting my experience and review. Jan 2024 Chose Korea instead of Turkey because wanted to make a trip to Korea for vacation out of it. Didn’t feel like there was much for me to do in Turkey Reached out to multiple clinics to get consultation, graft estimates, and pricing. Motion Clinic was mid price but what stood out was the service from the manager that spoke English and not pushy on the services. Very responsive to all questions asked. Some of the other clinics I would have had to hire a translator. I’d say when you’re doing a procedure like this in a foreign country, having someone that speaks your language definitely helps lower anxiety levels. Plus there were many reviews on Reddit and YouTube about Motion Clinic. Booked motion. Note: Didn’t watch any HT videos as I didn’t want to think about it. Just watched results and had a friend that had done FUE at another clinic that had great results. I didn’t know what to expect. Day 0 Design, Consultation, Step by Step schedule, and 3 part HT. 9am appointment but was asked to come in at 8:30am the day before to have extra time to consult if needed. The manager went through everything and talked about his own HT experience and results. As soon as I step foot in the door I was taken to a small room to change clothes. This part felt super sketch to me because it wasn’t what I expected. I thought I would at least consult with someone first but I guess I already flew to Korea so I was already committed. Design and consultation was straight forward and simple as discussed via email. My hair line wasn’t receding so there was nothing to design but just fill in frontal. I do wish they fade the grafts to the back a bit more but they told me it’s better do the crown vortex at a later time. I still have hair there just not as dense as it was before. They said finasteride would help with crown vortex and I can decide a year later. i may not even notice it when the frontal fully grows in. Part 1 HT - Numbing and extraction. I was told the numbing would be the most unpleasant part and it was. It took like 5 long mins and what felt like 60+ shots. It was like at the dentist when they give you 1-2 numbing shots but in the donor areas instead of inside your mouth. Hate going to the dentist for this and hated it here too. Once donor area was numbed i didn’t feel much of the extraction. Part 2 HT incision Poking holes in to receiving area. Same experience as part 1 for numbing. Did not feel much of the incision but could hear the incision. Lunch Was told that my grafts looked good but I wish they had told me what the count of hair was or Atleast shown me the grafts. Part 3 HT Implanting the grafts I was all numbed up so this part was easy. However, you’re just laying there for 2.5-3 hours while the nurses implanting the graphs. Wish I could have listen to headphones or something but all we had was the Korean radio. When they finish they clean you up, take some pictures, wrap your head in gauze, and place a black thing over your head that makes it look like you’re wearing a beanie which is a nice touch. Made my payment, went to pharmacy downstairs to get pain meds, anti biotic, and I was done by 5pm or so. Earlier than the expected 6pm. I felt fine post op and walked around Korea department stores for a bit, had dinner, and went back to hotel. Day 1 post op Returned to Motion Clinic at around 1pm to remove all the wraps and get head gently washed. There was still a lot of dried blood in the donor area. Receiving area was just red. This took about 15 minutes. They give you an oversize bucket hat to go on with your day. Again I felt fine and explored Korea for a bit. Day 2-4 I went back to clinic to get my head washed then proceeded with my day with bucket hat. Head was itchy every night. I may have lightly scratched the receiving area once in my sleep and woke up to it. Ran to mirror to check and thankfully I missed the area. Also, the wind almost blew my bucket hat off and my instinct was to catch the hat before it did and my hand bumped the area but clinic says everything was also fine. On Day 5 now and heading back home. Grafts should be anchored in now. This was long write up but hope it helps others. I am still in the early stages and haven’t seen results yet but I still recommend Motion Clinic for anyone thinking about HT. Everything seems to line up with others experiences.

Not a storyteller, but sometimes an experience may be worth to share. I remember how overwhelming it was to research hair transplantation procedures info and how many questions were with totally different answers. First, I’m not so young and half (if not 3/4) already ‘silver’ (BTW that’s a reason I won’t a beard, it looks like a ‘world map’ when growth :))) Second, the big part of my hairstyle already said ‘goodbye’ and I’m personally don’t like the head shaving that distributed like virus last years. So… decided (try) to fix this disaster and started to look over the transplantation matter. I’m healthcare pro, so my sight angle is a little bit other than most of patients. Step one – websites from all over the world with clinic pics. 50% excluded just by photo of the surgery room or clinic. Another part excluded by local standards and regulations. After some iterations remains S.Korea and Japan on the table. And, finally, Korea, where highest standards balanced with reasonable price, became the winner (for me for this procedure). Top-5 clinics were contacted and only Motion easily wins with clear, superfast and superdetailed communication. During 3 days all gaps were closed and date scheduled. Another clinic was ‘busy’, third was ‘come back shortly, and forth offer ‘only FUT in your situation’, that was not in my choice. Next days, I’ve got all of my (stupid, sure) questions answered and provided with a lot of info include maps and bus numbers from the Director of clinic Mr. Kim (Kim, are you sleeping at all? We have 7 hours time difference between our countries :)) ).So… the final of the story – I got 3000 grafts transplanted five days ago. The whole plan has been recommended to do by two procedures, I just realized my underestimation of real status. Was a bit nervous (big boys shall not use the word ‘panic’ but actually yes, because I’m healthy in general and was not pampered a lot with a doctors; yes-yes the ‘white coat’ guys are also sometimes have ‘white coat syndrome’ :)) ) before, and as it happens follow on, it was with no reason; all in Motion is organized ‘like Swiss watch’ whole team is extremely professional and attentive. I’m sure, I did the best decision from any possible, to do surgery in the Motion. Finally, I was welcomed in the ‘day zero’ morning at the entrance and next process was amazingly well-planned and smooth, you just moved from one pair of hands to another for each next step. At the end of day, you’ll be a bit woozy but see your new (future) hair profile in the mirror. Even like me, without glasses can’t see a whole ‘bloody picture’ (joke, I’m regular to see that), but me looks as planned and marked by designer on the start, and ‘if everything planted will sprout’, for me it will be brilliant result. No pain during the procedure, except very minor thing while anesthesia injected, but no issue. And… it was a first day from the last 30 years when I can lay down and do absolutely nothing! Somebody else take care. ^_^ . Day finished in the hotel with question for the million: What’s up? What I did?And that’s a place for tip one for those who on the way: take the 'travel pillow' with you (yes, this one for the flights), you’ll need it at night for some days. The bigger the better, try touch the hotel’s bed pillow by head as less as possible, it may be not so painful, but extremely uncomfortable. Tip two: take with you a couple of old pillow covers. Use them first nights over hotel’s, the blood and liquids are not looks good on the hotel’s sheets.The next day, bandage was removed, and I made a first mistake. Used wrong hat type. Kim said I need to prepare the oversized hat. That’s wrong. It should be ‘over-over-oversized’. :))) Fortunately, next has been provided with correct one by clinic.More or less, I know what should be supposed after such level surgery, so first days it was no surprises in health status, some itching, some tightness, less pain, nothing serious that can disturb to travel over the Seoul.Today is day five, the picture of ‘bomb explosion over the head’ in the mirror slowly changed to the normal view, hat is changed to my one (Kim, you didn’t saw these words!), no pain or itching, just a little dryness. Partial loosing of sensitivity in implanted area, but it is ok, will pass itself with the time. And two tips of the day five:- do not touch the head!!- mind the car entrance!! (I’m travel with car and dozen of times already found my head in a millimeter from the door’s arc)I did some macro-photos of post-op area, to see the healing progress, overall looks not bad, changing looks like micro-wound closing, just the number of wounds is 6000 :))) Still in doubt to put pics there, they are pretty similar to the others.Update in some days. ))

It is my hope that my experience will help answer some questions you have about whether you should go for it and who you should choose and how you can be prepared. First two photos are from February 15 2023. Third is before surgery. Fourth is my template prior to surgery painted on by Dr Reyes. I hadn’t been taking Finasteride or Minoxidil. I decided to put in a contact submission form for Dr Reyes clinic as well as a few reputable clinics in Turkey. Dr Reyes is one of the best when it comes to identifying and extracting curly follicles. The way they are embedded in the scalp is very different from straight hair and as such can be easily damaged and not viable after 6 months. Knowing my hair wasn’t stick straight I had an initial bias toward Reyes. After speaking with all three clinics it was evident that Reyes was the right choice for me. First, the curly follicles being a component. Additionally, her office would not accept an appointment without first having taken Finasteride and Minoxidil for 6 months prior to my surgery. The others were booking two weeks our. Minoxidil and Finasteride will establish and confirm transplantable hairs. Secondly, the Turkish clinics kept saying “my friend, we will give you as many grafts as possible, up to 5,500”. Reyes clinic insisted that 2700 was my max based on pictures but could be adjusted on day of surgery depending on the success of the medicines. My surgery was today 7/11/23 and I’m sitting down to a nice dinner of octopus paella and spicy tuna maki at my provided hotel. I’ve had a driver from the airport to the hotel to the clinic and for anything else needed. So far I’m feeling great and can’t wait to share the day one results with you tomorrow when the clinic removes my bandages. I elected for a plasma extraction and application in the scalp. This is supposed to aid in recovery, redness, and ultimate staying power for the grafts. It was an extra $400 which was an easy yes for me as I don’t want to leave anything up to chance. I bought a travel “turban” on Amazon. Basically a silk lined cap. It looks like a thin beanie and was endorsed by the clinic as a way to travel home without having people stare at your scalp. The grafts at the time of booking were $2.25 each and included the ground transit and hotel with a $25 meal voucher. Everyone is kind and happy to help you here. I was made aware that if I approved and if Dr Reyes chose to use more grafts to fill in my crown she would do so. The first hundred extra are free. The next are $1 each. She ended up using 3500 FUE grafts to cover all my thinning, receding hairline, and balding crown. I arrived at the clinic at 9am and did some blood work and cardio exam to confirm I’m healthy for the surgery. This was an extra $100 which was made clear when I signed off on the surgery back in February. Ultimately no surprises. I was finished at 7pm but it felt like I was only there for an hour. The exam room is clean and modern. The staff speaks English clearly and is very positive and happy. So far my experience is an A+. I’ll continue to share updates and milestones that are significant and attempt to answer any questions you may be having about my HT.

Hey guys, long time lurker and first time poster. I have been losing my hair from a very early age (18-19) and I'm 33 now. I started taking finasteride around age 26 which successfully stopped my hair loss completely, but I was still living with a very thinned front region since about this age. I became a slave to Toppik. While living in South America last year I went one week without fin and experienced severe thinning in the front of my head, I decided after this point that I would have to find a more permanent solution. So, like many of you I read as much as I could online and watched as many videos and looked through as many photos as I could, analyzing every last detail. After a while I was finally scheduled in Istanbul for my surgery, where they estimated I would need roughly 2,000 grafts to repair my front hairline. I was excited, nervous, then dead set on not going due to the extreme civil unrest in Istanbul. There are a couple of threads on here about Dr Alba Reyes, but absolutely nothing substantial. Two posts (as far as I've found) one simply asking a question about her, and another of a young man who was persuaded by everyone to not go out of sheer ignorance. It was therefore very difficult to find any information on this doctor or her clinic. This is when I began instead searching in Spanish. The results were staggering, many interviews with her on national television, many celebrity transplants, and many phenomenal results. When I could no longer read anymore I sent an email with photos describing what I was looking for. To my surprise I received a phone call the next day from someone that spoke to me completely in English. My confidence was already through the roof with all of the research I'd done so I quickly scheduled my visit for the following week. I was picked up from the airport by their driver and escorted to the hotel. I stayed at hotel Barcelo, originally part of my package with them but I chose to upgrade to a junior suite which gave me a wonderful view of the affluent part of Santo Domingo I would be staying in over the next 4 days. I was picked up from the hotel at around 9:00AM, and was driven to the clinic only a couple of miles away. There I met with Vanessa and we went over the procedure before meeting with Dr Reyes. I was in with Dr Reyes by 9:30 and I had a wonderful time visiting with her. She drew out a plan for my hairline and was very open to all of my concerns, and open to adjusting the hairline if I disagreed with her (I didn't). 30 minutes later I was in for surgery and agreed to sleep for the length of time it would take on the first day. Roughly half of the grafts were implanted on the first day, and the remainder on the second. I am absolutely ecstatic with how my hairline has come out, and the apparent density. I am on day 5 now and almost all of my scabs are gone. I am not using any chemicals on my scalp, only Emu oil and a Tea Tree oil & Aloe Vera shampoo which I let sit on my head for roughly 10 minutes. I do not agree with letting the implants on your head scab over and die of dehydration. I know these stories are never as important as the photos, so I intend to keep you guys posted on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. I am incredibly happy with my results and very thankful! Just want to give a heads up to anyone considering this surgery about after the transplant despite my thorough research prior I didn’t find anything warning me of this aftermath. December 3rd 2023 I got my DHI HT at Asli Tarcan hospital in Istanbul turkey. they did a wonderful job relocating 3200 grafts from back of my head to my hairline. Months having passed since surgery and my healing was going great you are permitted to go back to regular routine and intense physical activity is allowed. I’m a dancer so a relief to finally be able to stop holding back after what felt like forever . For some reason even doing things at my regular pace months after I couldn’t understand why my face specifically was sweating so bad from my head . I thought it was because of going easy for a couple months my body wasn’t used to the fast workouts but it continued for months so I decided to do some research. Unfortunately scar tissue doesn’t have sweat glands so both areas that were operated on being the front hairline and back of head will no longer release heat and it will double the intensity of heat in the surrounding area . I have no visable scars from the operation it’s looks 100% natural from birth! I’ve never had keloid scar problems or anything just because of the operation no matter your skin or hair type etc they’re will be scar tissue as they are creating incisions to implant the grafts . This all being said I do not regret this surgery and I would do it again in a heart beat but just something to keep in mind for the future ,hoping it regulates over time but we will see . First two photos are before having the operation and 3&4 are recent (7 months after surgery)

13 weeks! A little shed on the right hand front hairline but I’m sure it will fill in. I’m starting to feel confident that I fall into the very small group who don’t shed. There was definitely some minor loss and the transplant area is noticeably thinner than the natural area behind it, but I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this looks at month 3. Excited to watch it keep thickening up and hopefully I don’t get some crazy 3 month shed out of the blue! Cheers and let me know what you think!

This was my first time doing any sort of medical tourism. I contacted them on WhatsApp, did a consultation within an hour of contacting them. The person I did the consultation with spoke flawless English, set expectations appropriately. Answered every question I could think of. I booked my plane ticket and paid the small deposit to book the procedure the same day. I read nothing but great reviews about EsteNove, so I knew I was going to choose them before I ever contacted them. When I paid the deposit, they put me in an aftercare WhatsApp group with me and the nurses, staff, and translator. I was set up to fly into Istanbul the day prior to my procedure, landing at 7pm. I was sent a video of the entire 90 second walk from the gate I was to land at to the meeting point with the driver who would take me to the hotel. It was truly idiot proof. The driver would then take me to the hotel, hand me to the front desk of the hotel, and the front desk of the hotel took my bags with me up to my room - all spoke perfect English. The hotel is a [very] nice 5-star hotel, that I believe many clinics contract with for hair transplant lodging. The lobby is full of guys with bandaged heads. The hotel has great (cheap) room service menu with a wide variety of cuisines. At 10:45 PM, a nurse contracted with EsteNove came by my hotel room and drew a blood sample - quick and painless. My aftercare group was constantly telling me what was going to happen and when. At 7:30 the day of the procedure, I woke up, ate breakfast, and got a call from the front desk informing me my driver had arrived. I walked down to the lobby, met the driver, and was taken to the hospital [in a classy van, not yellow cab] for the procedure. My translator was waiting for me right as I got out of the car. The translator brought me up to the procedure floor, walked me through some standard paperwork (I read every word; exactly the type of HIPAA paperwork I’d expect in the U.S.), had me give my payment and passport to copy to the front desk, and brought me back to speak with Dr. Zafer. Dr. Zafer was very friendly, reassuring, and speaks decent conversational English, but used the translator during any sort of medical conversation to ensure exact translation - I liked how the whole conversation went; it was reassuring. He pointed out that my diffuse thinning was a bit worse than my pictures had captured, and I had 2 options; either a better hairline in the front with dense coverage to the midpoint of my head, or the same hairline and dense coverage of my whole head. I can come back for another HT if I want the back filled in the future. The whole hospital was very clean and modern; nothing stuck out as concerning or unsanitary. I was brought back to the procedure suite, “before” photos were taken, my head was shaved, and I was prepped for the extractions. If I had the minorest of gripes, it would be that I wished the translator would have given me a rough rundown of the timeline. I already had a pretty good idea of the steps of the procedure and timing from my own research, so it wasn’t a huge deal. The extractions started at 8:15, and went until 11:30. I asked for a bathroom break, and then the implantation began. The implantation concluded around 2:30. Throughout the whole procedure, Dr. Zafer was there approximately 20% of the time, speaking with the assistants, helping with the transplantation, etc. After the procedure, I was brought to a post-op room with the translator, who explained aftercare instructions, gave me some painkillers, anti-inflammatories, and antibiotics, neck pillows, was told my transplant count (4,400), and some other stuff. They fed me/offered me some hospital food (it was awful) at 2:30. I’d recommend bringing a small bag of food with you; you may want to quickly pound a snack around lunch time (between extraction and implementation) and after your procedure. I was then walked to the waiting black car by the translator, and whisked back to the hotel. I was informed by my aftercare team that later today, I’ll be brought back to the clinic for my hair wash (hair wash? I don’t have any hair!). That will be my last touch with EsteNove, and I’ll fly home tomorrow morning. Edit: The next day, I was picked up from the hotel, and brought back to the hospital. Bandages were removed. Great translator again. A nurse very carefully washed my head, applied antibiotic cream to the donor area. I had a 10 minute convo with the nurse/translator about washing it myself. I later realized it was all in my aftercare instructions; not rocket surgery. I was there for less than an hour, then brought back to my hotel. I could have chosen to be there for 3 days 2 nights, but 3 nights are included in the “package” and I chose to stay 3 nights. In hindsight; I’m glad I did. If I flew out on day 3, I would have been leaking orange head goo on the plane and my head was just raw. The extra 24 hours let the wounds form up a bit more. No blood/leakage while traveling. I highly recommend this route. I chose to arrive in Istanbul 7 days before my procedure to do some tourism. I really enjoyed Istanbul, and would recommend the same. Tons of English speakers in tourism-centric areas, and Google translate will get you through basic conversations if nobody speaks English. The locals are understanding if you’re a bit apologetic and respectful - you are on their turf after all. I saw a fair few people who clearly did the HT and then in the days following the HT did touristic stuff. The downside of this is; you probably won’t like the pictures taken of you. But you can still do anything you want. Locals aren’t jarred by seeing HT patients - you’ll see them all over Istanbul all of the time. They’re used to it. As of late 2023, Istanbul’s economy is shit. Retail prices for global commodities (I.e. imported clothing) are about 15% less than the U.S. (I had hoped for more) but there are deals to be found for locally-made goods if you do your research. Istanbul is an interesting, historical, modern city. I felt very safe at all times, but stuck to the more touristic areas during normal daylight hours. Logistics anxiety 0/10 - the logistics of the whole operation are so well coordinated. Zero anxiety from me. It is a very well-oiled machine and every person I came in contact with spoke very good English. Procedure anxiety 1/10 - as is said frequently: the numbing is the worst part, and it’s probably 2-3 minutes. On a scale of 1-10, I’d say it’s somewhere around a 6. It’s pretty bearable. After numbing, I felt zero pain. In fact, I got laughed at by the staff a few times when I would wake up because I probably slept through half the procedure. They had to shake me awake when they finished the extractions. Overall impression 10/10 - It couldn’t have gone better. I would do it again. I will come back to EsteNove to fill in the rest in a year or two.

Next week I'll be 6 months in. Just wondering how I'm doing. My hair's still somewhat wet from the shower though.

Hello everyone! After narrowing clinic choices down to Cinik, Cosmedica, Vera, Infinity, Now Hair Time, Smile, Hair of Istanbul and Estenove, I decided to go with Estenove. The reason I went with Estenove vs. the other clinics was because of all of the clinics I communicated with, I felt like they were the most honest regarding the number of grafts they could extract. Originally, I sent them photos when my hair was buzzed much shorter, and a customer service rep FaceTimed me and told me that based on the donor area, they felt they could only extract 1500 or 2,000 grafts. However, when I sent those same photos to some of the other clinics, they gave me a much bigger number (like up to 6,000 grafts!). I felt like Estenove had more of a conscience regarding how many grafts I could receive without overharvesting. I let my hair grow out longer and sent photos again to the same clinics, and after that, Estenove contacted me and told me that the doctor and team felt based on what they could see from the photos, they could extract much more. I also went with Estenove because when I communicated with clinics via WhatsApp, Estenove by far had the best response time. Some other clinics I had to keep following up because I wasn't getting any response, just two gray checks on WhatsApp for a few days. Estenove also gave me more personalized answers, and it didn't feel like I was getting copy-and-pasted responses compared to other clinics. Finally, I went with Estenove because the surgeon, Dr. Zafer, did the incision. I almost went with Cinik, but he no longer does the incisions on patients anymore, his team does everything. I almost went with Cosmedica too but I took the chance with Estenove because I liked the results I saw from patients, and I also communicated with Estenove patients on hair loss forums on Facebook. I liked what I saw and heard positive comments. Everyone at the clinic was super friendly, Dr. Zafer answered all of the questions I had, and the translator was with me throughout different stages of the surgery and after. It has been 28 days since my surgery, and I ended up getting 5,200 grafts on 6/25/24 with sapphire FUE. It was a little more expensive compared to some of the other clinics above ($3,500), but I think you get what you paid for! I didn't want to go too cheap. I got the frontal area done. I was categorized as a Norwood 6, Norwood 7 pre-surgery. The post-operation team has stayed in contact me via WhatsApp, giving me specific instructions about scab removal (with video links), asking for follow-up photos, and they have answered ANY question or concern I've had, with very quick response time 3 weeks in

Just did my own wash it was really scary but I followed a video they sent me after I left. The back is a bit tender and still looks swollen but it doesn’t hurt. Will post before I have to take scabs off and after.

it’s been 3 and half months post op growth been kinda nuts 😂 it’s like i woke up to a new hairline haven’t cut my hair at all yet my native hair however keeps on breaking. naturally my hair is brittle but is this all part of the shedding process? everytime i rough up my hair my broken hair strands are in my palm or all over my floor i’m not on any meds. i don’t want to take any as the mental health side effects scare me more than reduced labido. i need to calm down with sex anyway i have too much.

Key information Age: 31 Norwood: Every clinic I contacted that gave me evaluation said NW3, although I feel like I am on the advanced side of 3 Meds: 1mg finasteride daily 3/2022-6/2023. Stopped my hairloss from progressing. No side effects apart from increased libido at first and watery semen. I wish I had started a lot sooner! 0.5mg dutasteride daily 6/2023-present. I had minimal side effects on finasteride so decided to switch hoping for further regrowth. I had some testicle pain at first, at which point I decided to switch to every other day. The pain went away, and after two weeks I began taking daily. No further side effects except maybe like 5% decreased libido, which is honestly fine by me. 2.5mg oral minoxidil 6/2023-present. I'm considering switching to 5mg as after the first few days I have had no side effects. Collagen + biotin supplement 6/2023-present. Balding history: first noticed thinning around age 20. Progressed gradually first at the hairline and then the midscalp/crown until I started finasteride. Family history: My dad is full blown NW7. We have similar hair and appearance generally. No one on my mom's side has hairloss, nor does my younger brother. Price: 65THB / graft, for a total of 271,750THB or ~$7.8k. 20kTHB deposit over Wise, then the remainder with Visa or Mastercard after surgery for no additional fee. Included a PRP injection. Grafts: 4,178 total. 1,257 triple, 2,292 double, 315 1.5 (I actually don't know what this means), 314 single. 9,299 hairs total. Decision process I first started thinking about a transplant 3/2022, which led me to start finasteride after a consultation with a local surgeon. I made the decision to get a surgery 4/2023. Budget was not really a consideration for me, but I didn't feel that the results from top clinics were significantly better so I focused on doctors in the $3-10k range. Location was not a major factor, but I am based in Asia so Bangkok was a positive. I felt ready for the surgery and didn't want to wait, so I preferred clinics with short waiting periods. After seeing many good results from Dr. Laorwong on here and Reddit and positive initial communications with his clinic, I decided to go with him. I also appreciated that they provide 5 full days of aftercare. Consultation and lead up I communicated with the clinic over Line in mid May. I believe I was talking directly to Dr. Laorwong the whole time. He provided me with an MS-paint style hairline drawing a 4k graft estimation. There was some availability in June and July with significant availability in August-October. Due to my travel schedule, I decided on 8/4 and confirmed the date with a 20kTHB (~$572) deposit. I was told to stop oral minoxidil one week before surgery. I arrived in Bangkok a few days before the operation after a diving trip in Koh Tao (recommended place to visit). I met with Dr. Laorwong on 8/3 at 3pm for the in-person consultation. To be honest, his hairline designs were I thought the weakest part of his performance in reports that I had read, but I liked the first one he drew on me. The hairline went down to my retained forelock, which was what I wanted and expected based on my facial proportions. After a bit of discussion, we decided to slightly increase the arch so that I would have a bit of widow's peak to slightly improve hairline density and generally be conservative. He measured my donor area and confirmed that I was all good for surgery.They took pre-op photos and did a finger prick HIV test as well. I was told to eat breakfast the following day but avoid coffee and to not drink that night. In general, I found Dr. Laorwong to be concise and business like, but he happily and thoroughly answered all of my questions. They gave me antiseptic shampoo that I used that night and in the morning before surgery. Surgery I arrived at 8am on 8/4. I changed into surgery attire, then a kind nurse checked my blood pressure and gave me medication. I think it was amoxicilin, arcoxia, and two valium. Then Dr. Laorwong came in. He redrew the hairline and marked up my scalp, then proceeded to shave my head with the help of a few nurses. We proceeded to the surgery room where I laid face down for extraction. They massaged my calves and used a vibrating machine on my head while administering the anesthetic. It didn't hurt much at all, maybe a 2/10. They had music (I think Thai music? It was vaguely dancy and pretty good) on in the background and chatted a bit, but generally were pretty quiet throughout the operation. The valium began to kick in and I was in and out of consciousness for most of the morning. The most uncomfortable part was lying face down for so long. The gel pillow was nicer than a massage pillow, but still felt uncomfortable against my forehead. I had to lay my head on its side while they extracted from the parietal area, which was aggravated my neck (perpetually stiff from too much desk work). Overall, though, not too bad. We broke for lunch around 1:30pm. I had requested chicken pad thai, which I ate in the room where they shaved my head. After 30m or so we restarted. For implantation I sat in the same chair, face up this time. They drew blood for PRP then covered my eyes with a gauze blindfold. They administered more anesthetic to my forehead, I believe just above the center part of each of my eyebrows. Also about a 2/10 on the pain scale. I could feel the doctor making the initial incisions which stung a little, but when the anesthetic fully kicked in I didn't feel anything. Again, I drifted in and out of sleep for most of the operation. I'm not sure who performed most of the implantation, but I know that Dr. Laorwong was present for much of the time as I recall hearing his voice on a number of occasions. I was conscious for the last hour or so as the valium wore off and started to feel pretty bored, so I was quite happy when Dr. Laorwong told me that they were all set. They It was 8:30pm when we finished, for about 11 hours of surgery time after accounting for the lunch break. The same nurse who checked my blood pressure bandaged me up. They served me a light dinner, gave me medication (amoxicilin, arcoxia, prednisone, and tylenol, which I didn't end up needing) and instructions, handled payment, and sent me home. After enjoying a delivery smoothie, I took a valium and went to bed. Per their instructions, I slept on my back with two pillows supporting my head and a towel under my neck. Again thanks to the valium, I enjoyed a good night's sleep. Overall the surgery was a bit more comfortable than I expected. The entire team acted with utmost professionalism and kindness. If I could offer one piece of feedback to the clinic, I would have appreciated some progress updates as the surgery proceeded.  Aftercare I went back to the clinic at 3pm on 8/5. The same nurse who had gotten me settled the previous day undid the bandages and washed my head. She spoke decent English and had a warm, positive demeanor. The doctor came by for a checkup and confirmed that everything had gone well the previous day. They gave me a headband to wear for 3 days to prevent swelling in my face and a very comfortable black bonnet. I also did about 30m of low level laser therapy (LLLT) on the donor and recipient areas. They gave me a saline spray to use every hour until I went to sleep, which I adhered to carefully. They told me to resume oral minoxidil on this day. I returned to the clinic the following three days for further cleaning and LLLT. I saw different nurses on these days who were still kind but didn't speak much English. As a minor complaint, I had to wait in the lobby for over an hour past my appointment time on one of the days. Today, my last day before I depart, Dr. Laorwong checked up on me again and confirmed that things looked good. I thanked everyone for their excellent service and went on my way. In general, I felt pretty good after the surgery. My donor area was a bit sensitive and stung for the first two days, and there was some blood on my pillow after the second night (first night without bandages). The clinic said that this is normal and not something to be concerned about. The recipient area feels quite numb, which I understand is common. I also felt like I had to clear my throat a lot for the first two days after surgery, kind of like I gotten water in my windpipe. However, this could be allergies or just me being bad at eating. Logistics Bangkok is a very comfortable place to recover from surgery. Food and grocery delivery is cheap and tasty. I stayed at Pattern hotel and would recommend it -- kind staff and excellent breakfast. I have been to Bangkok before so didn't do much sightseeing, but there are a number of high end malls with air conditioning and good food courts that are nice places to kill time. I saw Oppenheimer in imax at Iconsiam and have to say it might be the nicest movie theater I've ever been to. Miscellanea Some of the post-op instructions were different from what I've read about with other clinics. In particular, I am a regular snus user, and the doctor told me that it was fine to resume using the day after surgery. He also told me that I can start exercising 7 days after surgery as long as I avoid contact sports. I was not instructed to sleep sitting up or anything like that. Overall impressions Although I reserve judgment until time reveals my results, I had a very positive experience. The doctor and his staff came off as consistently competent, professional, and kind. They were responsive to my concerns before, during, and after surgery. All details about pricing and logistics were presented clearly. The clinic is modern, clean, and fairly conveniently located. Assuming that my eventual result is positive, I would happily return if I need another procedure as well as recommend to family, friends, and strangers on the internet. Hair post 2000 FUE No shave laorwong 6 months. 1st photo is a week ago. Photo 2-6 is before the surgery Photo 7-8 are post surgery And photos 8-20 are all in the last 2 weeks, some wet, some dry, some styled, with the last 2 being from an event i was at last week 42/m been on 1mg fin for years, topical minox off and on but post surgery added 2.5mg oral minoxidil daily and have gotten 3 Prp shots over the 6 months. My overall feeling is of somewhat disappointment, with the caveat that i likely had unrealistic expectations, may have hair dysmorphia and also it’s partially my fault. After his initial drawing i got a little paranoid it would be too low and asked for it to be maybe half a centimeter higher, i feel like it ended up being a full centimeter higher or more and now i feel like i spent thousands of dollars to still have a receding hairline. I don’t know what was going through my head. I think i thought it would use less graphs, cause he originally told me 1600-2000, but the graph count didn’t change. Also maybe i was wrinkling my forehead and didn’t realize it 😂 I did feel rushed during the design phase, and also wish he had included my temples, but at the end of day I’m the moron. And i know everyone says it’s not 12 months yet, but my growth has also tapered off, especially density wise. I feel like I had great growth in the first 4, 4.5 months and it really hasn’t grown since then, in basically the last 1.5 months. The hair feels very wispy, you can see it in some of the photos, and for 2k in such a small area it should be far denser. Additionally, it’s just weird and hard to style. It mostly grows straight up, in a way that isn’t normal. Like, it won’t go down and i can’t wear it down. Just straight up. And in maybe 15% of it, along the right edge, it’s growing in sideways, at like a 60 degree angle. It makes it very hard to style. For example, i can’t comb or wear my hair down, if i wanted to cover up the forehead or do a fringe. The hairline also just looks weird, too straight, and even though I asked for micro irregularities there doesn’t seem like any put in. Luckily i have a few forgotten soldiers that survived and give it maybe a little bit more normal appearance. I don’t think it’s the kind of thing the average person would mostly notice but it definitely looks off to me. Weirdly, i think it looks best when it’s wet as the new hair blends with my old hair. The back looks fine unless I cut it short, in which case it has a bit of the moth eaten look, which means i can’t really get fades which is also another issue. Granted, i haven’t done that since about the 4 month mark cause I’m too scared now of what it’ll look like, so it could have improved. While this isn’t a horror story or anything, and it could still turn out solid, i really wanted to be able to stop hyperfocusng and thinking about my hair all the time. And maybe i have hair dysmorphia or something, but that hasn’t been the case. I also really wanted to be able to slick my hair back and can’t really do that. So all in all, somewhat disappointed. I’m starting to look for a touch up surgeon who could do some temple work and maybe give me a half or full centimeter lower hairline, if anyone has any recs. Would love to get something done this winter and finally have something I’m happy with but seems unrealistic. Happy to answer any questions

I had my hair transplant in Tijuana at Neopel Hair Clinic by Dr Hernandez on Mar 15. About 2000 grafts. Prior to that, I wore a partial hair system since late 2019. I opted for a hairline that was age appropriate (47m) and aligned with my temple recession. I don't want to look like I'm in my 20s, I just don't want to be bald. Started topical min/dutasteride from Happy Head towards the end of April. I'm extremely happy with the results from both the transplant and the medication. I might try to switch to oral min/dut after a year of usage because it gets more difficult to apply it topically the longer my hair grows out, but we'll see. Things I've noticed: Dr Hernandez created a great looking hairline for me. I was afraid of getting a straight, unnatural looking hairline but these results so far have eliminated those fears. Min/Dut gains are amazing. The new baby hairs really made my new hairline look very natural. They've also thickened out my thinning eyebrows. I started shedding again around 6 months. It has slowed down since then, but I did notice a decent amount of thinning because of it.

2 weeks post 2nd Hair transplant, both with Dr.Hernandez at clinica Neopel in Tijuana. I’m local to Southern California so drive was only 2 hours coming from Corona. My first one was fine, I always knew I would need a second one to fill in the crown and she told me that back in 2019’ when I had it done. I stupidly decided to get off the min and fin 8 months prior to see what it would look like and see if I could just rock what was left. Big mistake. Front locked great but very little in the back as my natural hair loss kicked in hard after I got off the hair products. The 2 pics are from 3 weeks ago during family pictures, as you can see the first one was solid by all accounts and I really wanted more density. 1st one was a strip as you can obviously see, 2nd time I got an FUE. So far everything seems to be looking fine, got back on fin only for now and will go back to finasteride probably in a month. The last pic was this morning 15 days post surgery.

Did my hair transplant in CapilClinic Mexico City yesterday. I was a bit skeptical about the M shaped forehead and the doctor told me it would look weird if he changes the lines. Now I'm a bit disappointed and regret not stressing more on adjusting the M-shape a bit more straight. Am I being paranoid or it could've been better? before center right left

I had a hair transplant at this clinic on September 11. 4 months and 15 days have passed and today is January 26th. I can't believe the hair I've grown over the past period of time! During the recovery period after hair transplantation, I did not skimp on care with oils and shampoos; I tried to look at it as best I could. They told me not to smoke or drink alcohol. I pushed myself a little; Even though I stayed away from alcohol for a while, I still couldn't do without smoking. I'm happy with the current result. As they say, it has been 4.5 months and it really becomes apparent after 6 months. I saw that in the videos I watched. I will also shoot a video. There were a lot of people around me who asked questions and wondered. I think it will be useful for those who are curious. I was very pleased with the team. Whether it was the general coordinator Mr. Ahmet or the patient consultant Ms. Ece, the entire staff was very friendly and caring. They deserve all the money they get. Thank you all very much again. I will go for a check-up in 5 months; I will also visit the team again. Finally, I want to say this: There is really nothing to make a big deal about. After enduring the pain of anesthesia for 5 minutes, you don't feel the rest. Once you get through the shedding process, the rest is downhill. Every day you look in the mirror and smile. Just finished the procedure. I had a good experience overall. I stayed at Mura Hotel Boutique which is 3 minutes from the office in a safe zone. The office is located on a new office construction so it's all clean and new. My only "complaint" - I hate to be sold stuff. I was ready to pay when I was offered another “package” - PRP and a Messotherapy shot. I kinda declined but the girl was pushing it so hard (like if you don’t get it we are going to be upset) and last thing I want is them getting upset before the procedure because they didn't get their extra $. So I took the Messo shot ... $400. - literally inject a small syringe after the procedure.. and they show you the empty syringe and say here.. done. Idk what was in that shot that was worth 400. But anyway… I had the female doc which is supposed to be the best at this location, and she left mid session. The male tech who is the anesthesiologist took over and did most of the procedure. I think he did great to be honest and is a good guy, also speaks English really good. Everyone was nice in the office and they are all from Turkey. See pics for reference. I have nothing to compare this clinic to but I highly doubt paying 15k in Miami would have been much different. If results are good like I know they will be, I would go here again.

Let me tell you that I started loosing my hair at 25 but i came across Dr Jimmy Cortez in Tijuana and I was fascinated with how quick they replied , how easy the whole process was and how close to the border they are ! Not to mention the amazing modern facility that they have . I have to say there has no better investment then when you invest in yourself. This picture is just 1 day after surgery and I can already see my hairline back !! 😭👏 I can see that the crown area and middle part is covered already when before I would just have to play with having long hair to hide my spots ! If you even have a minimal doubt reach out them ! I live in San Diego and even compared with places here and it was night and day. Here in San Diego I was just a number it felt like such a sales pitch but down there they actually cared and took care of me .

Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to post on here because when I was researching I did not find any information for this clinic in Tijuana Mexico called Hairfix at the new city medical plaza. My overrall experience with the doctors and staff have been great. They communicated well and made me feel comfortable and the plaza is really nice and clean and the package comes with hotel stay in the same building walking distance. 32 M. Went to Hairfix Mexico in Tijuana. Just out of operation. I want to preface with saying that I have had a very good experience overall! I got 2,968 grafts, cost was $3,990 all inclusive (hotel stay with breakfast and transportation). I understand my surgeon’s rationale for not immediately grabbing more grafts and doing more mid-scalp, where you see it kind of end. The hairline is also similar to pictures of me at about 16-17 as recession started, I’ve always had a widow’s peak. There is still more thickness and growth happening since I’ve been on finasteride (1mg) and Minoxidil oral (5mg), so she wanted to wait and see that progress continue to before deciding to go further to the crown and instead focus on front density and hairline. The “new hairline” seems a little high, but as we designed it she showed me where the muscles were and wasn’t comfortable adding any in the area to make a lower/straighter hairline so it would look unnatural when my forehead/eyebrows flex. The whole procedure was performed by the doctor, Dr. Aydeth Olvera - extraction and implantation. She was very thorough and clear about after care instructions. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow morning for the first wash. Everyone else at the clinic is very friendly and helpful. I met the medical coordinator Dr. Moreno as well. I will say that things I have greatly appreciated about their operations is they wanted to make sure I was on medication and stable before a transplant, and when my blood pressure was a little high from the anxiety and travel, they made sure to discuss with me if it didn’t come down like postponing the operation. I’d rather have a cautious doctor than one just wanting to crank patients out. But luckily I calmed down enough and we could proceed. So in the pictures we have where I started when I got on medication in March 2021, a few months ago, to today. Can’t wait for the future updates!

Well I Did It & now it’s time to trust the process. Yesterday I did 3400 graphs at Ileanovo in Medellin by Dr. Santiago. The whole procedure was about 12 hours. They analyzed my scalp, shaved it, marked it and then started the harvesting process. They provided lunch and after about an hour break started injecting the areas. The procedure includes 2 PRP sessions and they injected PRP through out the process. I’ll be tracking the process will post again after a few months. Highly recommend Ileanovo and Dr. Santiago.

Just had my HT at Este medical group Istanbul. Before i get into the HT and procedure, I must say Este has been second to none so far. Pickup service is on point and have put me up in probably the best hotel in Istanbul the Hilton Bomonti. Lovely area with shops, coffee shops and restraunts . When I arrived today there was someone there to greet me went into the clinic and it was a lovely clinic very clean and really nice feel to it. The staff was friendly I overpaid and they told me and give me money back so definitely no conning going on here. Was brought into get bloods done then I got a consultation with the doctor and he was so good advised me when I’m talking to plastic surgeon be careful about choosing hair line and make sure you happy and not to say yes for the sake of it basically and was funny guy really liked him . Then I was taking up stairs I first got SVF stem-cell treatment which was great was a sleep for 3 mins and then back awake again and then a little procedure on top of that took 25 mins. Then onto the HT itself. A team accompanied by a plastic surgeon and a doctor. Team was brillant we sat full 6 hours 4000 graphs. Did not stop once. Was pain free, at start I did feel a small bit and just numbed me. I slept throughout the procedure snoring etc as I had local antistatic which was very good I must say. After HT got the bone fluid that was taking during stemcell treatment and injected into head plus prp got a few pictures taking the team explained everything to me and then kitted me out with a carrier bag full of hair goodies serum shampoos minoxidil finasteride if I want to take and tons of other stuff. I am really pleased with it and will upload pictures. I had done my research lads and trust me when your doing something like this do research make sure your happy and confident and go with your gut feeling. Don’t pay for a cheap package get the best one as I think clinic’s with treat you better, with the best team etc. plus Este only do 3 -5 transplants a day which is good. I think if you are looking to go to turkey Este should be there on your list of options.

Hey guys! Just wanted to report back from my hair transplant at Dr. Serkan Aygin in Turkey. I’m in the hotel now still lol. I did my operation 2 days ago and tomorrow is my first wash day. So this is a fresh report 2 days post-op. I’m including pre and post-op photos of my hairline and wanted to get everyone’s opinion. What do you guys think? Personally, I love the result. I went with Dr. Serkan Aygin with 2 more family members after I weighed the pros and cons of other clinics and I couldn’t have been happier. The staff, technicians, translator, and Dr. Serkan himself were all amazing. The best part was that I wasn’t rushed during consultation and Dr. Serkan actually took his time with me and my family on what we wanted, what he thought was best, and we came to an agreement. I emphasized I wanted a natural hairline and not something straight. Overall a 10/10 experience so if you guys have this clinic on your watch list I think you should do more research and go for it.
