Seven days out from 3800 FUE transplant and thought I'd post a quick review and update. The TLDR: pretty happy with the experience so far, but did see and experience some questionable treatment. I picked Vera following some good reports on here and seeing some decent YouTube reviews. My reasons were influenced by price and timeline: I'm getting married next year so wanted the results bedded in for then, and I 'm also saving to pay for that too. If I'd had more time on my side, or money, I'd likely have opted for Dr Juan Couto (Spain) or Dr Feddy (London) based on their results with similar hairlines. Photos attached from day of treatment to day seven (today). The Dr invovled in the hairline design was Saim Nedim. I actually wasn't rushed through the hairline process, which was a surprise. Their team spent a while having me move forehead musces around and drawing / redrawing until we were mutually happy. He wasn't involved in the procuredure itself. That was an anaesthetist for the shots (which hurt like a bitch, 9/10 pain IMO) and two technicians, as expected. Pros Great comms throughout over Whatsapp, before departure and during Transfers, 5 * hotel etc all pretty faultless Enabled me to pay in advance at no extra cost, rather than travelling with a wad of cash - at my request As mentioned, didn't feel rushed during the hairline drawing which I've heard can be an issue with the high puthrough clinics Oxyucure therapy afterwards was in a clean, modern and purpose built Vera facility Cons Fairly hard push on supplements immediately post surgery when you're feeling tired and just want to get out of there. I held my ground but can see why people just buy them Ditto push on their topical finasteride at $650 for the year. Main issue was with the assertation 'topical has no side effects at all', which is unequivocally not true - lower incidence of sides would be acceptable. Doubt you'd see that statement in the UK or US due to regulatory adherence Anaesthesia started to run out towards the end. I asked how long and was told 15 mins and that it was best to just grit my teeth, rather than have more injections. It was another 45 mins. Less than impressed with that. One a final con, which I'm including as separate for balance as it wasn't my direct experience, was how another guy was treated while I was there. He'd been quoted 4000 grafts and on examination they said he’d need 7000, to split it over two days and to pay an additional fee. He’d been told it was impossible / dangerous to do 7000 graftrs in one day. When he told them he was going to leave it altogether, the room filled up with people and all of a sudden a different doctor had decided they could do the 7000 in the day. Unsurprisingly he decided to leave it and went home without a transplant. On day seven I seem to be healing up well. Aftercare has been bepanthem cream (from Vera) and Panthenoal cooling foam (on advice from another person – this has been great). No meds yet but plan to start Mix and Fin 0.01 homebrew topical (pills dissolved into liquid) in two weeks’ time. Will post update pics in due course.

With a heavy heart, I share today my personal chronicle of despair experienced at Vera Clinic in Istanbul. At first glance, it seemed like I had found a sanctuary for my troubled hair, but reality quickly transformed into the shadow of sorrow and disappointment. I entered the seemingly illustrious doors of this clinic with the hope that my hair would come back to life. Instead, I witnessed the merciless downfall of my dreams. In a few hurried minutes, I was entrusted to the hands of technicians, claiming to be professionals, and Dr. Gökhan Vayni was opening the channels. After investing not only money but also my trust, the results were devastating. Out of 4800 transplanted grafts, only a few lost strands remained. The survival of my new beginning disappeared as quickly as I was led out of the operating room. Looking in the mirror now shows me not only my physical reflection but also the reflection of lost opportunities and shattered dreams. The once-promising certificate of guarantee now feels like cynical irony. I was even recommended to take Finasteride 1mg for five months. Really? In my forties, when the effectiveness of this chemical mixture diminishes, I should be treated this way? And all without the supervision of a doctor, of course. My money was lost, and my hopes were thwarted. Particularly painful is the realization that I am not alone. I am just one of many who were led through this clinic like on a conveyor belt. Lost hope and a heart shattered into pieces are now my daily companions. Despite my dark experiences, I must give credit to Mirela, the contact person from Vera Clinic. Her communication was always fantastic, even though the results of the surgery were bitter. This cautionary tale is not just a cry into the void but an honest warning for those considering a journey to Vera Clinic in Istanbul. My story is not isolated, and if anyone is going through a similar dark period, please leave a review. Perhaps together, we can find the strength to rise from the ashes and warn others of the seemingly promising yet destructive path of Vera Clinic.

Tomorrow will be six months since the transplant. Had my first haircut at a barber in around two years yesterday. As detailed in my previous post, I've been clipper shaving since week three and only started growing it out seven weeks ago. Pretty happy with the progress, although hoping it continues to thicken up over the next six months. Not on any meds. Some of the reservations about Vera I outlined in my first post notwithstanding, I'd still recommend the clinic.

My head is still traumatized & I know it will take time to heal but I will try to give an honest review while I still remember the very recent experience at Vera Clinic, as a female hair transplant patient. Before deciding on Vera Clinic and while doing my research, it was difficult to find real-life, unpaid/not-sponsored reviews/testimonials from female hair transplant patients. Starting from WhatsApp, Tolga Guines was professional & answered my questions promptly and efficiently. However, I do think a video-call consultation with a medical doctor would have been appropriate. Throughout the entire process, I realized there was very little interaction or consultation time with medical doctors. All the service personnel on-site as well as the drivers were exceptionally well-mannered, so for that, I thank you all. Clear instructions were given on the meet-up at IST airport. Although it seemed chaotic at first, being directed to and handed over from 1 person to another, I eventually reached the designated driver who brought me to Elite World Asia which was a 5-star hotel. Check-in was smooth & the hotel was great. Next day, I had a less-than-5-minute consultation with Dr. Saim Nedim Ecevit re: Exosome Treatment then the Exosome injections were administered, which were relatively bearable. At the same time, I started to notice I was the only female patient among all the hair transplant patients at Vera Clinic. Saturday was the transplant surgery, so it was an early start at 7:20am & the driver had to pick up 2 other patients from other hotels. The 2nd consultation with Dr. Aidin Chadordouz Jeddi was a slightly longer duration 10-15 min but there was a lot of waiting time as there were many patients that day. I would have hoped for a bit more discretion to be provided to me as a female patient but there was not. Waited over an hour for the ‘shaving process’ as no one was available. Then when my turn finally came, 3 people had their hands all over my head/hair. I felt it was quite rushed but there wasn’t much else I could do about it except to follow the process. The most painful part of this entire experience was when they injected the local anesthetic into my scalp, first around the donor area (2 window strips) and then in the recipient area. So no, it was most definitely not “NFI (Needle Free Injection)” advertised because multiple injections were made, and half a Xanax pill hardly sedated the pain from those anesthetic injections. Sure, once the anesthetic kicked in, my whole head numbed up and there was no more physical sensation, except the emotional stress that remained throughout the procedures. As I only heard female voices, I don’t think the graft extraction was performed by any of the doctors I met with earlier. Even during the hair transplant, a doctor only came in the room for 2 minutes to see/ask how things were going but the procedure was not performed by him nor any of the doctors I was earlier introduced to. So I don’t know who performed my hair transplant surgeries. What was also lacking was a step-by-step guide to what was going on, what was to be expected etc. E.g. no one explained when the PRP treatment was done until I asked on the last day and was then told it was treated on the hair grafts before implanting in the recipient areas. The second worse part was the bandaging process after the surgeries. It was a mess. Seemed liked no one was equipped to handle long hair delicately. Rubber gloves were cut into small pieces to make hair ties. Friction from the ‘impromptu rubber bands’ were pulling at the very few and fine remaining hairs on my head, and again, there were 6 hands all over my head trying to tie my hair and tape the bandage. I think this process can be improved because it was not a pleasant experience for me. When they finally decided enough sticky tape was used to secure the thick bandages, & my few remaining hairs braided/tied with the cut-rubber-glove-bands, I was done and so exhausted that I just wanted to crawl into a hole & hide for a long, long time. But there was a mis-coordination of logistics, & I waited over 2 hours for a driver to bring me back to the hotel. Last day was OxyCure treatment explained by Dr. Hasan Ali Nogay who addressed us as a group & that went fine. But the removing of bandages & hair wash was not pleasant either. Should be better planned for a female/petite patient – support seat/neck cushion, or simply someone more experienced with handling long hair delicately. All in all, I am glad to have gone through this experience and hope that the results in 6-12 months will somehow make it all worthwhile because I honestly never want to do this again. It was a last resort for me, having tried many other ways to stop my hair thinning & improve the density. Will update my review later...

I learned about Vera Clinic through other people’s great results and decided to request a consultation. I was contacted by a consultant named Rytis — very polite, helpful, and quick to respond. He clearly explained everything regarding travel, accommodation, the procedure, and payment. Before the trip, the clinic team contacted me with clear instructions. Upon arrival, transportation to the hotel was already waiting — everything was well organized. I stayed at the Titanic Business Kartal hotel, which was excellent with very friendly staff. On the day of the operation, we arrived at the clinic and were assigned a translator. Everything moved quickly, but I want to highlight that the translator spoke excellent English, was friendly, and guided me through every step with no unanswered questions. The entire process was smooth. I was most worried about anesthesia and pain, so I requested sedation with NFI. I was pleasantly surprised — I felt almost no pain at all. The doctors were careful, attentive, and explained each step. The procedure itself was top-level and one of the best experiences I’ve had; time passed very quickly. This experience gave me full confidence in the clinic, and I would return again if needed. After the operation, I felt slightly weak and dizzy, but the clinic staff took great care of me and ensured I returned safely to the hotel. While waiting for transport, I was constantly monitored, which I truly appreciated. Special thanks to the woman who accompanied me until departure (sorry, I don’t remember your name). I genuinely recommend the clinic — for the price, you receive a lot. Now I would like to mention something that left a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. The day after the surgery, we came in for a check-up. As always, the friendly staff explained how to proceed with self-care, what products and medications to use. At this point, I was introduced to topical finasteride. The clinic offers various products, and that in itself is fine. The issue is that I purchased products from them that are significantly more expensive than the average market price — something I only realized later. It is a very effective strategic move to offer products when a patient is tired after a procedure, poorly rested, and has little time to properly analyze the purchase, especially when you want to protect your hair as much as possible. I was offered topical finasteride, with an official website price of the price I paid per bottle, and the clinic offered it roughly half that price. I agreed without thinking too much, although the price still seemed very high to me. Sometimes clinics do have exclusive products, so I purchased 1.5 years’ worth of finasteride. After returning home, I researched the product more thoroughly. Its official website does not look trustworthy, appears cheaply made, has no reviews, and the organization itself is not well known. Other topical finasteride options (Keeps, Hims, DrHair, Sons, etc.) cost around the price I paid for the same quantity. I don’t see why I had to pay nearly three times more. Time will tell — perhaps I will change my opinion later. Due to airport hand-luggage rules, I had to open the packaging, so returning the product is no longer possible. I am not saying this is a scam, but I strongly advise future patients to carefully evaluate any additional products offered, as I clearly overpaid. After returning home, Vera Clinic continued monitoring my recovery. Special thanks to consultant Burcu for her clear communication and detailed answers, which build trust. Overall, Vera Clinic is very professional, with impressive facilities, an experienced and friendly team, greatly organised logistics, and an excellent experience. I highly recommend the clinic — just be mindful when purchasing extra products :)

I had my hair transplant at Vera Clinic on November 10, 2025. At the beginning, I was in contact with an advisor on WhatsApp named Alex. He was great — always replied quickly and gave detailed answers. After some time, I stopped getting messages from him, and only when I asked again did I find out that he no longer worked there. I would have appreciated if the clinic had informed me automatically instead of me having to ask and worry about it. My new advisor, Lena, was also good and helpful, but I felt that Alex was faster and more precise with his answers. I also didn’t receive a confirmation email, and the one I got later could have been designed better — for a big clinic like Vera, a clear PDF document would look more professional. The stay in Istanbul was good. I was picked up from the airport and taken directly to my hotel. Before the trip, it would have been helpful to get a short message explaining how the surgery day would start and when I would receive more details. On the surgery day, I was picked up at 7:30 a.m. The whole team was very friendly, kind, and professional. I especially want to highlight a young woman who had only worked at Vera Clinic for two months — she supported me during the procedure and did an amazing job! She was very caring and made me feel comfortable and safe. One important point for me: I had asked twice before the trip if a German translator would be available. I was told yes, but in the end, there wasn’t one. I can speak English, but for a medical procedure, I would have preferred someone to translate everything perfectly into my language. This has nothing to do with the staff member who helped me — she was fantastic — but this is my biggest criticism. The surgery itself went really well. I received a calming tablet and was half asleep during the operation — it felt like only 30 minutes, even though it was actually around six hours. The team made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The anesthesia was a bit uncomfortable at first, but thanks to the light sedation, I barely noticed it. The next day, during the hair wash, I noticed (along with a few other patients) that the bandage was removed quite quickly and roughly. Maybe that’s normal, but I think it could be done a bit more gently, especially since the area is still very sensitive. When I received my pickup time for the airport (IST), I already felt it might be a bit tight. I would have preferred to be picked up earlier, especially knowing that traffic in Istanbul can be unpredictable. We ended up in a traffic jam for 1.5 hours, so I arrived at 11:00 a.m., and my boarding time was 11:45 a.m. Luckily, I had done online check-in. Overall, it was a great trip with just a few things that Vera Clinic could easily improve. I came home with a positive feeling and am now looking forward to the healing and growth process. As I was approaching my 58th Birthday my wife asked me which country shall we visit to celebrate the occasion. I replied that I needed a little bit of time to check my work schedule and appointments. Realising that I had around two and half weeks before my next set of big meetings and social events I decided to do something for myself. That evening before leaving office I started to do a bit of searching on the internet about hair transplant, which countries and which clinics offer the best services. It did not take me long to realise that Vera Clinic in Istanbul was a serious contender. So i filled in the online form on their website. Instantly I was contacted via whatsup where I answered a number of simple questions such as age, weight, height, medication etc. I also send them a couple of photos. Barely two hours later I received a detailed proposal of how many grafts would be transplanted and where, details of the procedure, accommodation arrangements spread on four days and the price. A few days later, my wife and I landed in Istanbul where we were picked up by a limousine and driven to a five start hotel close to the clinic. The following day at 7:30 we were again picked up by the driver and taken to the clinic. The clinic itself is very modern and welcoming and it also has a n own Starbucks coffee inside the reception area. After the registration I met the medical team who carried out a medical consultation and checkup, took blood test and checked my ECG. Once I was given the green light, my hair was shaved and I was directed to the actual clinic where I was first given local anesthetic in the skull. For the next hour and half I sat face down on a medical bed where my hair follicles where gently uprooted from the harvest area at the back of my head close to the neck. After a brief break where I was offered water and a sandwich, the transplanting procedure took place. Sitting in an inclined position facing upwards, two of the medical team patiently transplanted the hair follices for the next two hours and half. Once the procedure was complete and my head covered, I was driven back to the hotel by the limousine. The following day we were at the clinic around nine thirty. The first hour was spent inside the hyperbaric chamber breathing pure oxygen to facilitate recovery. This was followed by a laser treatment and a hairwash. After a brief meeting on how to look after my hair following the procedure, I received a certificate together with a bag of hair care products. By early afternoon I was back at the hotel and a day later I flew back home. The whole experience was very enjoyable and highly professional. Since coming back I received regular feedback on the progress and even though I had the procedure barely three weeks ago, I am very pleased with the results so far. I definitely recommend Vera Clinic to persons considering a Hair Transplant.

This was by far one of the greatest experiences of my life. A hair transplant is no small thing and so it came with anxiety to make the decision to do so but on top of having to fly to turkey without having any travel experience I was def nervous. However right from the start after choosing the Vera clinic I was helped the whole way through. I was connected to Beyza who was my consultant and she assisted me on pretty much everything I needed to get my hair transplant complete and I mean she was extremely helpful and willing to answer my questions or provide info. I actually can’t even begin to explain how helpful she was. Vera Clinic has three packages to choose from all at extremely great prices I choose the third package which came with a full 5 nights at a 5 star hotel (which was amazing), stem procedure (which was still optional after in house consultation), the hair transplant with tons of pre and post op treatment and guidance. I didn’t know what to expect really when I got there but boy was I pleasantly surprised. All of the pickups and drop offs are pre scheduled through messaging I just needed to follow the instructions which was easy. The facility is very up to date clean and organized. Everyone was super kind to me right from the start. Each step was explained they took their time for me to understand and a translator was provided. Once the operation took place I could tell how well trained the hair technicians were the whole way through and I mean I was not disappointed by the results after. They got way more grafts from my donor area then I though was possible I was super pleased. After operation the next day we had a follow up day where I was put into a hyperbolic chamber for oxygen treatment and some red light therapy for my scalp. All of these things were just so amazing to see and participate in knowing that the clinic really has a passion for doing what they do well I really felt that. I was then explained after care routines and was provided with an opportunity to purchase a supply of gel and vitamins to help after I went home. I opted for the one year supply because the price was great and they backed the product and after this whole experience I could tell they truly cared about just getting the best out of your hair transplant. You would think that once all was said and done you’d be done but even after procedure was complete I was reached out to and followed up by my consultant Beyza and was provided with an after care specialist, Merve Tolu for post op queries which I will be in contact for as long as I need. All of this in a few words just cannot explain how amazing my hair transplant experience was at Vera Clinic. I was say to anyone thinking about where they should go should just stop looking and go to Vera Clinic I really do mean that. They are just perfect.

Vera Clinic literally saved my trip to Turkiye from being a total disaster! I had originally scheduled with another, small clinic to do the HT procedure. Upon arriving to that clinic, after 23+ hrs of travel, lots of effort and expenses, the Dr there decided he didn't want to do the procedure because I had had previous open heart surgery. Of course, this had all been disclosed, and I had been tested and cleared by my cardiologist as not an additional risk (at the request of that clinic). I went back to my hotel, completely deflated. While in my hotel, I decided to call Vera Clinic, who I had also vetted as a good potential choice, to see if I could get a consultation to see what their doctors thought about my eligibility to have a HT. I got there mid afternoon, discussed my health situation and experience I had with the first clinic, and showed my cardiac clearance and test results with one of their doctors. They asked if I would let them perform an EKG, and I agreed. The doctor assured me I was fit to have a HT. Then they did something that totally blew me away. My coordinator/translator (fantastic woman!), asked if I would mind sitting for a few minutes while she talked with her colleagues. She came back shortly, and asked "Would you like to save your trip and have the procedure done today? I have got a team together and they are willing to stay late if you want to be able to keep your planned flights back home [in a couple of days]". I was ecstatic, and of course, accepted. I was prepped, and began the procedure at about 3pm and the team worked until about 9:30pm that night to complete the job! Vera Clinic had saved the day! And the trip! This experience most others traveling to have a HT procedure don't get to have... to be able to witness first hand two different clinics, their facilities, staff, business operations and, of course, the actual HT process. And let me tell you, I am SOOOO glad I had that opportunity! Comparatively, Vera Clinic's staff was so much more professional, their business practice and process was flawless, and the facilities were impeccably CLEAN and sanitary!!! (that was a huge difference from what I experienced at the first clinic). They were also able to do more grafts than the first clinic offered, so that was just icing on the cake. Vera Clinic did not have to do that extra effort they did to accommodate me, but they did, and that to me says tremendous customer service... much more so than I would ever expect to get from a medical facility in the US! So, YES, YES, YES! I would wholeheartedly recommend Vera Clinic as an ideal choice for your Hair Transplant needs.

It’s been three weeks now since I underwent my hair transplant at Vera Clinic in Turkey having 2300 grafts to the crown & 2000 to the front. Obviously the real mark of how successful the procedure has been will not be for several months yet, however I’ll give a review of my experience to date. Every element I’ve encountered to date has been impressive & extremely professional. During the planning stages, Oz my contact at Vera was very helpful & answered any questions I had promptly & comprehensively. The clinic itself is state of the art & everyone within very friendly & professional. There are different staff at different stages (so bare this in mind if you’re expecting one person (Doctor) to be with you the whole time) however that was not a problem as everyone appeared competent at their respective roles & a friendly interpreter is there throughout. During my research I had read (and in fact concurred by a friend who had been there and indeed others in the clinic the same time as me) that the anaesthetic injections are quite painful. Now one thing that is available but in my opinion not very well publicised is the option to have, in addition to the oral (tablet) sedation, intravenous sedation (I think it’s identified as ‘NFI’ on the literature) there is no additional cost for this but you have to ask for it, I did ask for it and can honestly say I hardly felt any pain at all either by the injections, extractions & transplanting, in fact lying face down during the extractions was rather relaxing & I found myself drifting off now & then. Vera Clinic, something to consider making more widely known?? At the end of the procedure day I banged by head leaving the car at the hotel entrance (my own fault!!) The driver was extremely attentive, rang the clinic and duly took me back for them to re-insert the five or six grafts I had dislodged & then brought me back to the hotel…..excellent customer service. You will meet others undergoing exactly the same as yourself at the clinic and / or hotel… I highly recommend exchanging numbers as I’m now in a WhatsApp group with five others from all over the world who have been these past three weeks (& hopefully beyond) a great source of ‘self help’ So as I said at the beginning the real determination of success will be a few months away yet, however although early days all the recovery appears to be going to schedule & I’m very satisfied with the Vera service before, during and to date after the procedure .. I would recommend

I was given muhamad khair as my contact before I had even booked my flights or paid any money. I asked lots of questions through WhatsApp that they answered immediately and honestly no matter what time I sent the message. months later arriving in Istanbul everything was seamless. picked up from airport and taken to 5 star marriot hotel. Everything made clear through WhatsApp messages what the plan was for the following day. when arriving at the clinic it was modern and clean. the way the clinic is ran is very efficient. myself and around 7 others were in the waiting area first thing in the morning. one by one we were assigned a translator nurse who took us round stations to sign documents check our hair donor area, design hair line. once forms were signed i was taking down stairs for blood test, photos before and after my hair was shaven. I was then taken to my surgery room, translator still with me to explain each step. I found the needles to administer the anaesthetic a little painful but not too bad. the next came the big needles to put fluid in your head. I admit I really did not enjoy the sensation of the pressure of this and had to force myself to endure it,but it didnt come as a surprise as. my translator had explained truthfully how it would feel. once that was over procedure began. I couldn't feel a thing and felt like a slab of kebab having its meat shaven off. a quick pause for 15 mins with a sandwich and drink then on tonthe after noon session to place the follicles in their new place, again felt nothing and once done was given medication by nurse/ translator and given a ride back to hotel. 2nd day organised well again came back in for wash laser treatment and oxygen cure session. this was great and like how vera clinic took time to explain the next steps and put extra effort into making healing process better with the oxygen cure treatment as I get the feeling some other or cheaper clinics in Turkey would just get ypu out the door once they have your money and the procedure is done. im currently on day 4 of the process and muhamad Khair has now also set up a WhatsApp group for my post treatment. I sent over photos when asked and got a reply straight away to tell me everything is healing as it should be. will check in again onnday 11 after washing the scabs off and looking forward to the results. the real review will be in 8 to 12 months time though when the hair grows and im looking forward to seeing the results. I am going home tomorrow after a fantastic experience with Stem Cell and Hair Transplant Surgery. Upfront:100% recommend to anyone serious about this procedure! I knew the surgery was right for me but I chose Vera after an internet search showed that it was in the top 10. After submitting the inquiry, Muhamad Khair, reached out to me through iMessage (but WhatsApp is also an option) and walked me through the process. He was superb in support and never pushy. Extremely helpful throughout! Once you make the decision to execute, you acknowledge your commitment by booking the airfare to Istanbul and then Vera sends you information on how to submit a deposit (down payment) and you wait for travel. This is the scariest part for Americans but it is legit. If you aren’t comfortable with wire transfer, credit cards are accepted but Vera charges a fee. I recommend paying the remaining balance in cash. This is totally normal and not unusual. Don’t expect to get a lot (or any) administrative details until just before you travel. To be honest that is the only downside of Vera. However, it is a very efficient and smooth execution. They pick you up from the airport and take you to an excellent hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations and was high quality! It was my first time for the treatment and I went all in with Stem Cell Surgery, Hair Transplant, and 6 months supply of shampoo, vitamins, etc. However, there were several returning patients who also bought the shampoos so I felt vindicated in that decision! The Stem Cell Surgery was painless and had I planned better could have integrated Istanbul sightseeing for the day after’s recovery session. The actual transplant procedure was also very similar but a little more uncomfortable towards the end but not painful. I had 4150 graphs and it lasted about 6 hours with a ~30 minute break for lunch in the middle. The day after surgery was spectacular and there wasn’t a single patient that met over the 5 days that had a bad experience or were not totally pleased with their experience. I plan to come back in a year to get the rest of my head completed!

I came back to Vera Clinic for my second hair transplant (Dec 2025), and yes, I realize that returning for round two is probably the most convincing “review” I could write. Just like last year, the experience felt extremely professional from start to finish: clear communication beforehand, smooth logistics on-site, and a team that makes you feel well taken care of at every step. Airport pickup and hotel arrangements worked without stress, and the clinic’s organization on surgery day was efficient and calm. This time I also had a very specific returning-customer request: I asked in advance whether Mahir could be involved again. He was the one who created the channels during my first transplant, and we had such a good and genuinely fun conversation back then that I basically wanted the “same team, same vibe” upgrade for round two. Vera actually made it happen which felt surprisingly personal for a clinic that handles a lot of patients. Mahir created the channels again, and together with Merve and Yağmur the procedure was handled in a structured, reassuring, and very smooth way. I’m also returning with confidence because I’m massively happy with the result of my first transplant (front-to-mid area). That outcome is exactly why I felt comfortable coming back for the crown and some mid-scalp work. Another strong point (again) is the aftercare. Burcu, my aftercare assistant, has been extremely supportive and responsive, with the right kind of patience towards my detailed follow-up questions that tend to start with “quick question…” and end up as a small dissertation (microneedling included). The WhatsApp support after returning home is genuinely reassuring in the first days. Of course it’s still early and final results take time, so I’m not reviewing “the result” of the second transplant yet, I’m reviewing the overall experience, professionalism, and support. I had my hair transplant at Vera Clinic in Istanbul on January 2nd and I am genuinely impressed. The level of care, professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional. The clinic is extremely clean, modern and aesthetically beautiful (11/10 for cleanliness), and the entire medical team deserves a 12/10 for how they treat patients. I had 4580 grafts transplanted, which required proper planning and an individual strategy. What really stood out to me was the personalised approach — they consider your head shape, hair structure and future styling. In my case they even avoided extracting grafts from areas that could later affect the natural direction of the hair due to a slight occipital indentation. That shows real experience. My case was medically complex because I have SUSSAC syndrome, which involves immunology, long-term medication and an increased risk of bleeding. Two clinics refused to operate on me, and others avoided discussing medical details. Vera Clinic was the only one that prepared a proper medical protocol including IV steroids, PRP and medication adjustments. Despite the increased risk, the procedure went extremely well and, surprisingly, my healing was even better than many healthy patients — proof that proper preparation matters. The surgery took around seven hours and the channels were opened by the professor personally, which for me was crucial because angle and direction determine naturalness. Throughout the procedure I felt safe and well cared for — the team worked in shifts, everything was sterile, calm and efficient. The support continued after the surgery with daily guidance and instructions. I never felt left alone at any stage. If they asked me to pay an extra for this level of care, I genuinely would. I decided to go with Vera Clinic following recommendation from a friend after spending much time myself researching clinics in Turkey for hair transplants. After some consideration, I booked in at Vera Clinic and was instantly provided with very helpful information according to my personal needs by my consultant Omer. The process was very smooth, the clinic organised transportation from airport to hotel, hotel to clinic and hotel to airport with prompt timings. I was very impressed with the facilities at the clinic they were to a very high standard and clean. Staff at the clinic were helpful, and did everything they could to help me feel assured and ease any nerves around the procedure. The doctor gave a careful assessment during consultation, whilst the technicians took great care at ensuring the procedure was as painless as possible. The primary technician in particular who lead during the procedure was empathetic and supportive all the way throughout. The following day, the information I was given regarding aftercare was detailed and I have so far ensured to follow this guidance carefully. My aftercare specialist, Burcu, continues to check in with me and my progress which I appreciate as it shows genuine care and interest in the client following the operation. Although it is still too early to judge the results, I am happy with the amount of grafts given in the areas where needed and I can see that the hairline grafts were drawn and planted in a way to ensure a natural look. I feel the clinic could be a little more transparent however with their commission fees. I only found out shortly before I arrived in Turkey of the 8% commission fees when making card payment unless you use Doctours - I feel this is something people should be aware of prior to coming. Overall it was a great experience and I am looking forward to see the results.

My experience with Vera clinic from start to finish has been amazing. My airport transfer to my hotel was waiting with a member from the vera clinic team and was very helpful. The Marriott hotel where myself and my partner stayed was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly and lovely food. My first day at the clinic I was met with a translator and met with my doctor for my stemcell surgery. Which the doctor carried out the surgery The procedure went very well and I was informed all of the way. Vera clinic is immaculate everything is spotless. The staff all looked very professional and were always happy to help out with information. My hair transplant went very well. I was a little anxious about this being a woman and it is mostly men that have hair transplants. However, whilst I was there I saw 2 ladies were having hair transplants. I met with my doctor on the day of the surgery for a consultation who examined my hair and recommended 2600 graphs and drew my new hairline. Which I was very happy with. As ive had a poor hairline for years and have had to wear my hair with a centre parting with a ponytail or bun. My transplant procedure was carried out by a technician with 2 nurses and lasted around 5 hours. I was made to feel comfortable with all of the women and I was given a local anaesthetic so, the pain was not too bad. My aftercare team have been great on how to sleep, what not to eat, to drink plenty of water, how to wash my hair. I'm back home in England now and have still been receiving aftercare advice. I would highly recommend Vera clinic to anybody who is wanting to get a hair transplant. Their service is outstanding and the the doctors, technicians and nurses are great at what they do.

I had my hair transplant done at Vera Clinic 8 days ago — 4,800 grafts covering the hairline and mid-scalp. The crown area is still untouched for now. The whole process went very fast — from consultation to payment, paperwork, and surgery. It felt a bit rushed at times, but also nice to have everything done so quickly. I came to Istanbul to get this sorted, and they made it happen efficiently. Communication was mostly clear, although some of the staff’s English was a bit rough here and there. Then again, my own accent isn’t perfect either, so I can’t really complain — we understood each other just fine. The surgery itself went smoothly. I’ve lost some feeling in my scalp, but they told me that’s completely normal and temporary. I also had pain in the donor area for about seven days, which thankfully has now gone away. One positive surprise was that they prescribed topical finasteride, since I had tried the pill form before and got side effects. I’m curious to see how this alternative works out. Hotel and transport arrangements were solid — airport pickup, transfers, and check-ins all ran smoothly. Overall, I felt well taken care of throughout my stay The total cost for me was the price I paid, including the procedure, hotel, transfers, flights, medecin and food — a fair deal considering everything included. So far, I’m generally satisfied with the experience. The clinic is professional, the logistics are smooth, and recovery is on track. Of course, the real judgment will come in 6–12 months once the results start to show, but right now I’m happy with how things went.

I had an outstanding experience at Vera Clinic in Istanbul. From my first contact with Omer, who answered all my questions and put me at ease, everything was handled professionally and thoroughly. There was a small miscommunication about my appointment time for the aftercare treatments, but it was quickly resolved. The airport signage was in English, my driver knew where to go, the hotel people and clinic people all spoke English too.The procedure didn't hurt and 6 months later, my head looks beyond awesome. The left and right sides of the front of my head had no hair at all. It looks incredible now. I wish that I could post pictures here, but there's no option. Back to the procedure - I had that done along with injections and red light therapy. They took skin material from behind my ear to make the injections. I could see 4 dots behind my ear post-surgery and thought it would be a scar, but it's totally healed now. I also bought a huge bag of vitamins, shampoos and two types of ointments to stimulate hair growth. I went all-out on this because I wanted the best results! I have just recently (2020-12-25) had a FUE Hair Transplant at Vera Clinic. Honestly the hardest part about this journey is to stop overthinking it and just booked that treatment. The clinic is so clean and modern you are in safe hands it can be scary going for a hair transplant but you are at ease, the procedure itself was painless just the numbing injections can be quite uncomfortable but you have someone there speaking to take your mind off it the procedure lasted 6 hours in total but honestly did not gee that long at all and there was little to no pain after just some discomfort which is expected they give you pain relief that helps and I also go 6 months worth of hair supplements that I cannot wait to begin.I have also decided to go back next year to get my teeth done as well which I cannot wait as I know I will be in great hands.Overall, I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone who is thinking about getting a hair transplant done because the service is just amazing! I was really skeptical for years on doing this procedure. It’s quite. A vulnerable thing to do, overall im so glad I did it. I have a lot of friends that are interested in also going to Vera Clinic now. I’m like the “test subject” but their results speak for themselves. I met a few people at the hotel who were coming back for their second transplant to get their back half done. They had amazing results and it just reassured that I made the right choice. I had Zehra help me through the process. They chose a great doctor for me. The clinic is immaculate, high tech and professional. It was a huge help to also have transportation covered and also stay in a wonderful hotel. Turkey is a beautiful country and I definitely plan on going back to Vera clinic in the future for some stem cell treatments and maybe even get my teeth whitened. If you’re on the fence about doing this take it from me, I’m a confident person but the one thing that bothered me when I saw photos was my hairline. There’s nothing wrong with doing something about it and Vera clinic is the right choice.

Vera Clinic has been so wonderful at following up with my son and husband the entire year after their transplants last December of 2024. They respond to all our questions and concerns within a day or two. The hair growth has been good and even though my son still has more to go, the doctor has assured us that in the next 6 months it will continue to get thicker and darker. My husband looks amazing. I visited Vera Clinic for a hair transplant and, while the staff was polite and the process was smooth, my overall experience has been mixed. I had a 4000-graft procedure and expected a noticeable improvement in density, especially in the frontal and mid-scalp areas. Unfortunately, even after 12 months, the results have fallen short of what is typically expected from a procedure of this size. Under normal lighting, the scalp visibility is still quite prominent. The clinic did respond when I raised my concerns, but the explanations given didn’t fully address the lack of density I’m seeing. Considering their stated revision policy, I had hoped for a more proactive or solution-oriented approach. While some improvement is visible compared to before the procedure, the outcome has not met the expectations communicated to me at the start. I hope the clinic continues improving post-procedure support so future patients receive clearer guidance and more consistent results.

The hair transplant and the process was exceptionally good and straightforward. Really professional, clean + modern clinic. The team doing the hair transplant took their time and you can clearly see from the layout of the grafts that this was a professional job, done by people who knew what they were doing. I received my transplant in April of 2025 and though I had expected it to turn out well, I didn’t expect it to turn out as well as it did. The cost was reasonable and I felt I was in good hands at all times. I opted for the stem cell treatment so I wish I could tell whether or not that was effective or worth it but I don’t regret it. I am also glad I opted for sedation during the procedure. I am so grateful to the doctors and assistants there, especially Merve Tolu and Beyza Can. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a transplant to use Vera Clinic.

Its been a year now since I had my hair transplant. I left a review a year ago to say i was extremely happy with the service. From being collected from the airport to checking into the hotel to being collected and brought to clinic and back to the hotel each day it was all so smooth. I am writing this now to let people know i stand by what i said a year ago and more. The procedure was painless and the staff were all brilliant. Now it has been a year i can say that I am very happy with my hair and i would have no problem recommending people to go to Vera Clinic. Im 4 days post op and I was really happy with the whole package and procedure with Vera Clinic. Pre op they where brilliant with all the information provided & answered every question I had (Muhamad Khair). On arrival in Istanbul they provided every transfer & notified me of all the times. Hotel was very nice too. Clinic was really good, all the facilities where top quality. The procedure when great, they explained everything at every stage and made it as comfortable as possible. The post op they went through everything from washing,sleeping,eating,medication and all the do's and donts. So far the transplant area looks great and im looking forward to seeing the full results in a few months. I would highly recommend Vera Clinic 👌

I had my hair transplant done December 11th at the VeraClinic. I had accompanied my friend 11/2023 when he got his hair done. Since then the location has changed to a bigger and impressive facility which gives trust in the process. I did not really research a lot of clinics as the results of my friend are very good. The whole process was very good. Air port pickup, great hotel with wellness area and real gym which unluckily I could only use the day before the surgery. I have nothing to improve. I am on day 26 and for now I am in the shedding phase which is very frustrating since I was very happy to see all the new hair after the crust was gone. I am very much looking forward to see the new hair grow again in a few weeks.

I am now at 6 months after my hair transplant at Vera Clinic. So far, my experience has been positive. The communication with the clinic has always been fast and clear, especially with Merve Tolu, who follows up with me regularly on WhatsApp and asks for photos to monitor the progress. Regarding my result, I can already see good growth and clear improvement compared to before the operation. The density is still developing, especially in some areas, but I know this is normal before months 9–12. I still expect more thickening and density in the coming months. Overall, I am satisfied up to this stage and I feel more confident. I will continue to monitor my progress until the final result at 12 months and beyond.

I had a very good experience at this clinic. From the very first communication, Mr Muhamad Khair was very attentive and always responded very quickly and thoroughly to every question I had. He assisted me all the way until I came to the country . The drivers were all very nice. The clinic staff and the doctors who assisted me were also very nice and patient with all my questions and treated me very well. My translator was so kind and reassured me when I expressed my fear for pain, little did I know, it would be a very smooth process. However, at the end, they were very late for pick up to the airport, we had to squeeze in the car and ran a little late for our check in which is not ideal.

The contact before, during and after treatment is on the HIGHEST level. The Clinic did a transportation for us through the whole time of treatment and also picked us up from the airport. Cara very clean and comfortable. The clinic is very modern and clean. Appointments with doctors and clear instructions. The transplantation procedure went very well and comfortable. Also after transplantation was done they have washed the head and use the red light therapy as well show and instruct how to wash the head. Moreover VeraClinic supply with cushion for sleep and hat to weaer to protect the head. I highly recommend!

I’m writing this review 10 days after my surgery on 27th December 2025. Cannot fault the service, transfers to and from the airport both to the hotel and back and forth from the clinic. Pick up times all communicated via WhatsApp so always kept informed. Clinic is immaculate, they keep you informed throughout the process and I’m really happy with how it is healing. So pleased I went ahead with Vera Clinic and felt in very competent, safe hands. Post op communication is great too as they still keep in touch via WhatsApp and request photos of my head to ensure all is well. Cannot fault it

Here is my honest review about Vera Clinic, this is not sponsored. I went there as a regular client. I was first hesitating between a few clinics but what got me to choose Vera was that they weren’t pushing me to make a deposit and feel like i’ve engaged into a procedure by asking informations. Once on site everything went really smoothly, everybody was very nice and welcoming. The clinic is very spacious and clean. The transplantation was painless and well conducted. I have nothing negativ to say about Vera Clinic, my experience was great and follow up after as well.

I have had my 2nd hair transplant for the crown area a year after having the front part done. I was very pleased with the 1st procedure hence I returned for the 2nd procedure of the crown area. I also asked to slightly improve some density in the centre part of the 1st transplant area which looked a bit less dense , I am sure I’ll have a good result again come 12 months. The people that come from all over the world and from my 1st first experience gives me more confidence in choosing them again, I would recommend them to anyone considering having sole treatment down for their hair.

The whole package was great. From the pickup at the airport, the logistics were on time and I did not have to stress of how to get from one place to another (both airport and the clinic). Hotel was of great quality with breakfast included. The procedure was smooth and quick, which took in total of 6h to get 4000 graphs for a fresh new hairline. Very happy with the whole process.Might need another visit to the clinic to finish the whole head of hair, and would definitely come back. If someone would be asking for a recommendation, would definitely suggest Vera Clinic!
