Hey guys! Just wanted to report back from my hair transplant at Dr. Serkan Aygin in Turkey. I’m in the hotel now still lol. I did my operation 2 days ago and tomorrow is my first wash day. So this is a fresh report 2 days post-op. I’m including pre and post-op photos of my hairline and wanted to get everyone’s opinion. Personally, I love the result. I went with Dr. Serkan Aygin with 2 more family members after I weighed the pros and cons of other clinics and I couldn’t have been happier. The staff, technicians, translator, and Dr. Serkan himself were all amazing. The best part was that I wasn’t rushed during consultation and Dr. Serkan actually took his time with me and my family on what we wanted, what he thought was best, and we came to an agreement. I emphasized I wanted a natural hairline and not something straight. Overall a 10/10 experience so if you guys have this clinic on your watch list I think you should do more research and go for it.

I am writing this review one week after having had the procedure done. I became comfortable with the idea of travelling to Turkey from the US for a hair transplant after a couple of friends did it, with good experience and results. I looked at the clinics they went to, but ultimately decided to go with Serkan Aygin after doing my own research. All the communication us done via Whatsapp. This may be a little disconcerting for some, but I was fine with it. After my initial outreach, all messages were responded to within around 24 hours. Given the time zone difference, I was happy with this. Katre was the person helping me and she was great. I sent in photos for the initial evaluation and was told I would need 3,400 grafts, though if on arrival in Turkey it was determined I would need more or less, the price quoted would not change. On arrival in Istanbul you are given instructions to meet your driver. You go to what is really an area where there are lots of people waiting who are managers for transport. Once I found my guy, I waited about 10 minutes before my actual driver picked me up. I was taken to the hotel in a private sprinter van. If you plan on doing any sightseeing, you need to go some days ahead of your procedure. I did this, and was glad I did so that I got to see some of istanbul. The day before the procedure you go to the clinic for the consultation. I was informed by Whatsapp the day before what time I would be collected. The clinic is large, modern and quite impressive. I met with Katre and Dr Serkhan, who drew on my head and determined I needed 1,000 more grafts than was determined previously. I met with Dr Serkhan for no more than 3-5 minutes, but I had expected that this interaction would be short. I then completed the necessary blood tests and an analysis of the donor area to ensure the quality of the grafts. I was never actually told the outcome of these tests, but assume everything was fine as the procedure went ahead the following day. The night before the procedure, I was told my pick up time would be 645am and not to eat breakfast. On arrival at the clinic I was taken quickly for some initial steps - changing the clothes, shaving the head. I was then taken to the procedure room and met with the team of four who were working on me. My procedure lasted from about 745am until 530pm. They give you sedation and local anesthesia. My team was very nice and professional, regularly checking on me to see if I was comfortable and administering more local anesthesia if I was not. I think I had a 20 minute or so break for lunch and one other bathroom break. I forgot to mention that all this time I was accompanied and being regularly checked on by a fluent English speaking handler. Though the team working on me did speak enough English for us to communicate as well. Before they being implanting the extracted grafts, the doctor comes and again draws the correct line on your head. It was not Dr Serkhan this time. The doctor spent quite a lot of time with the team perfecting the time and I felt good about this. After the procedure you go for a light meal in the clinic cafe before being taken back to the hotel. You have a bandage over your donor area and they give you a neck pillow and various medications. The next day I was taken back to the clinic, the bandage was removed, my head washed and I received some red light therapy. Then you have the option to buy one or two of their post procedure hair treatment kits, in addition to the shampoo and lotion they give you for the immediate aftercare. Both hair kits total about an extra the price I paid FYI. I decided to buy them both, but others did not. The next day I was taken to the airport for departure. Although I wait to see the results over the coming months and year, I felt this was a good experience: - The communication for me was good, and they have continued to communicate with me promptly when I have contacted them with aftercare questions; - The clinic is modern, clean, state of the art; - Everyone I dealt with was very professional and kind. A few minor quibbles: - The Ibis hotel they use is just ok. I would suggest offering an upgraded hotel option; - The extra the price I paid for the hair kits was something of a surprise additional expense. They might think about making it at least an option to buy this ahead of time s an advance add on to the upfront cost; - The team that worked on me were extremely nice, but nobody told me their name when I arrived at the room. Perhaps they thought that the patient does not care to know our names, but personally I would have liked them to introduce themselves as I was spending about 9 hours with them working on me. The worst part of this experience has been trying to sleep during the first week. You have to sleep somewhat upright using a neck pillow and this is uncomfortable either or both on the back of the head and neck.

⚠️ BEWARE: “Bait-and-Switch” Tactics at Dr Serkan Aygın Clinic a Volume Factory Trading on His Name ⚠️ I’m posting this to warn anyone considering Dr Serkan Aygın Clinic before you book or send money. I booked what was clearly advertised as a Sapphire FUE package, after being explicitly assured that Dr Serkan Aygın himself would see me in person and oversee the transplant. Nowhere, not in the brochure, not in any message, did it say the deposit would be used for a hotel or transfer. Those items are already listed as included in the package. When I arrived in Istanbul, Dr Aygın was not there.That was the only reason I had agreed to travel. I immediately cancelled, since the clinic failed to deliver what was promised. Afterwards, the clinic tried to re-label my deposit as “hotel and transport costs” and even attempted to increase the package price for a later date. This is a classic bait-and-switch: advertise a personal procedure under Dr Aygın’s name, take a deposit, then replace him with someone else while keeping your money. It’s a high-volume operation trading on the doctor’s reputation, not a personalised medical service. Once you arrive, you realise it functions more like a factory efficient, yes, but impersonal and ethically questionable when the key promise is the doctor’s involvement. I have complete written proof: • WhatsApp messages confirming the doctor’s attendance, • the brochure and receipt showing the inclusive price, • and their later emails refusing to refund or honour the agreement. Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law 6502, this conduct breaches Articles 15, 48, and 61 misleading advertising, failure to deliver as agreed, and unfair commercial practice. The clinic told me they had “consulted their lawyers” and that “no further action” would be taken. I have since filed complaints with the Turkish Ministry of Trade, the Istanbul Consumer Arbitration Committee, and the Health Tourism Certification Authority. A full evidence-based YouTube video will soon show every screenshot, receipt, and message so people can judge for themselves. If you’re researching hair transplants in Turkey: ✅ Get everything in writing. ✅ Confirm the doctor’s actual presence on your procedure day. ✅ Never assume a famous name means you’ll see that person. This clinic uses Dr Aygın’s brand as bait to draw bookings, then runs patients through a volume system where the promises change once you’ve paid. ⚠️ BEWARE before trusting any offer that uses Dr Serkan Aygın’s name. Verify it yourself in writing, or you may lose your deposit and flights as I did. ⚠️

I own a company in the US so I know how important customer service is; before "and" after the sale of the service. I also know how crucial it is to "exceed" customer expectation of performance! Dr. Serkan's team exceeded at all levels, beginning with Mey who was my "point" person who scheduled everything from beginning to end. She was always available for even my slightest concern! Emre is another "point" person who never skipped a beat, from scheduling my transportation from the airport, shuttles and back to the airport. There are actually (2) Emres there; both are wonderful. But I have to say that the team of female technicians were astounding in their skill! I can't stress this enough, they (like Mey) worked with precision and never overlooked any detail while working on me. I was never in any pain throughout the surgery and could not be happier with the results. Mark, remains my "point person" on continuing service to follow up on healing. He has returned each and every email I had, usually the same day! The clinic is stellar in what it looks like and I never felt as if I was at a "questionable" clinic. I met two patients (from ANOTHER doctor and clinic) and they told me they were in pain during the surgery. I was SO comfortable that I caught myself actually talking in my sleep! The technician thought I was speaking to her! LOL! I was so relaxed. At the end, I purchased a kit that has the continuing maintenance products. It's been 4 weeks and I could not be happier! I can't wait to go back next year to do my crown. They placed over 4,500 hair follicles on the top of my head. Another important note, I have been in a couple of movies and will be doing 3 more in the next 3 years. It is critical to look my best and so I did my research and I thank God I made the right decision to go to Dr. Serkan. Lastly, so how did I find out about Dr. Serkan? I was in my barber's chair discussing having this restoration done. A customer was waiting for me to be finished but overheard my conversation with my barber. He said, "I'm a patient of Dr. Serkan and couldn't be happier. I went there last year" The barber said, "Come here, let me take a look"! He had longer hair. The barber said, "I can't even tell the difference!" That is how I knew Dr. Serkan was the one! I researched from that point forward and Dr. Serkan's name kept rising to the top! I can't tell you how happy I am. My deepest gratitude goes to May who made this all happen! Love you Mey!!!

1. I live in San Diego , CA . I got doctor information from my cousin who done the surgery three months before me . Made to Istanbul with my wife having my list three doctors to see him make the decision which one I will go with . First clinic to pick me up from the airport didnot show up . Used business card ( from Family friend who did hair transplant with him )get in a Cab ( biggest thieves cab drivers ). Clinic Dr he made him self best in the west with high. Last appointment was with Dr SerKan Through his assistance Ali Baba .This what will say about them. From 1 to 10 ( 10 stand for the best )A - clinic clean score 10B- Pick up and drop off from the doctor to the hotel Score 8C- surgery got done by more than three good teams I give them 10 for it because long timing I rather to have people fresh not tired from working eight hours straight .D-6 out 8 hours of Surgery time I was laying on my back Heard a lot The last 2 hours which is a problem my cousin didn't complain about maybe different kind of bed so equipment I'll give them seven they need add TV so you keep yourself busy with something.E-after the surgery was feeling cold they provide me a blanket. I was hungry vapor might provide me with a sandwich and yogurt . I was tired they have a Ready for me to take me to my hotel for all this I give them 10 +.F- finally for the results for somebody out of the country with the treatment of the clinic I give them (the best )10+++This what I will say .Was really good clinic I was surprise of people from different countries they were there . I have just had my second transplant hair done at the clinic of Dr. Serkan Aygin and, again, it was an amazing experience. Throughout, the treatment was sincere, professional and very comforting. The communication, guidance, and continuous support is of a high quality indeed. Although one can never go deep enough into scientific explanations and research-based details (which is something that I personally like because I am a nerd), overall care, openness, and trust that I have received far outweigh it. Whenever I could not grasp everything, I inquired once more--and I was never given less than patience, understanding, and sufficient explanation. A massive thank you to my crew Yaren, Katre, Emre, Mark, and the rest of whose names I do not want to misspell and the surgeon and his crew, who also conducted my first surgery, which I feel very content with. They are very consistent, precise, and compassionate. This clinic provides only the highest quality of results, yet, they also focus on one more important point the role of the patient. It is important to take medications, provide guidelines as well as carry out appropriate blood work after the post-op care to aid in the general growth of hair. The sincere liability-driven style creates actual trust. I already make my experience public and will not be afraid to do so. I would definitely recommend the clinic of Dr. Serkan Aygin and his superior staff, and I will certainly continue to sing the praises.

I had my hair transplant at Dr Serkan’s Doku Clinic on 12/28/2025 after extensive research comparing reviews and pricing. They were mid-range cost-wise with thousands of reviews, which ultimately led me to choose them—and overall, I believe I made a good decision. Communication before the trip was excellent. Mey handled scheduling smoothly, and once in Istanbul, Emre was outstanding—very attentive and helpful. The logistics, transportation, and coordination were extremely well organized. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and professional. My procedure involved about 5,600 grafts and lasted nearly 12 hours. The surgical team was excellent before, during, and after the operation. While local anesthesia did involve some discomfort, the team was responsive and supportive throughout. Food and post-op instructions were provided, and overall care was solid. A few areas could be improved: blood test and 3D imaging results were never discussed, which felt like a missed opportunity for transparency. Post-op care requirements were more extensive than I expected, and I wish those details had been shared earlier. Also, for patients traveling alone, having food in the hotel ahead of time is strongly recommended. Two weeks post-op, I’m very satisfied with the team and overall experience and now waiting to see the results. It’s a big commitment—painful, expensive, and intense—but Doku Clinic delivers a professional and well-run experience.

I am writing this review following my 9 month post-operation point. I am very happy with my results so far and it’s so nice knowing that my growth is not even done yet. From the starting point till now the density I have on my head now is shocking. I feel like a whole new person, really. The bit of confidence that I had lost pre-operation is now back 10 times more and I can only thank the clinic and the team that took care of me. The service was very professional. From the initial consultation to the aftercare. The doctors and assistants couldn’t have been friendlier and I always felt in safe hands. My assistant helped with issues at all times of the day via WhatsApp which was comforting. The hotel I stayed at was within walking distance of the clinic, although I was still picked up each time which was nice. The only thing I think could have been better, is better communication. When I arrived the morning of my procedure. My translator was there and greeted me but didn’t assist with the early stages. The staff that assisted me couldn’t speak English, so I found this a bit overwhelming as I didn’t quite know what was going on. The day itself is a long day, too, so I think something like the TV being on or me having something to concentrate on would’ve helped time pass and distract me. All in all though I’m happy with the service I recieved from Dr Serkan’s Clinic.

Travelled from the US to have DHI transplant. From airport pick up to drop off, the entire process was seamless. The staff were extremely professional and very pleasant. I was kept informed of what to expect throughout and translators were readily available when needed. The procedure itself lasted 8 hours, was smooth and I was kept comfortable for the duration. The clinic was very modern and clean with all of the latest equipment. Medications were provided for the following days and all bandages were removed the following day. The hotel was comfortable and located very close to the clinic. Transport from hotel to clinic were always punctual. There were many of the hotel residents having the same procedure so there is no awkward feeling with a bandaged head after the surgery, either in the hotel or in the City as a whole. If thinking about having a transplant, I highly recommend Dr Serkan.

I can’t yet comment on results as only had the procedure two days ago but incredibly happy with the whole service and process over the last few days. Such a smooth process getting from the airport to the hotel, the consultation was done very professionally and the overall experience in the clinic was excellent. I had a team of 6 people doing my transplant who paid extreme attention to detail to the hairline and implantation, there was no urgency or rushing at all and I felt very confident throughout. I felt absolutely no pain throughout the procedure, it felt more like a head massage. 9 hours later with 650 more grafts than I was quoted I was given a good two course meal and spoken through the aftercare process. I then returned the following day for bandage removal, clean up and laser therapy. Couldn’t have been made any easier, looking forwards now to seeing the results!

Tust is probably the most important factor when coming to Turkey for cosmetic surgery and everything about this place gives the impression that it can be trusted. Its a huge, well-established clinic with loads of employees and theyre all super friendly. Almost everyone speaks some level of English and most of the time you are accompanied by someone whose dedicated role is to translate, but if not you can be in constant contact via whatsapp with the person in charge of organising your whole journey. The customer experience is really relaxing and they explain everything. I came here because I know two people who came here and I would highly recommend it. I even got to meet the boss man Dr Serkan himself. Really happy with the quality of output too. All the info is available for before during and after the procedures, and you are looked after every step of the way.

From the very beginning to airport drop-off everyone was so kind and professional. I was not the easiest patient to deal with but the clinic staff were amazing especially on surgery day. I whole heartedly recommend this clinic and would certainly come back for anything I require in future. If you're also travelling for tourism you can safely leave any apprehension at the clinic entrance and trust that you will be in safe hands. The only thing I didn't like was being pressured to leave a review before leaving. I removed that and wrote this one a couple of days after leaving because they are a truly exceptional clinic worthy of a positive review. As for the results, only time will tell, along with post-op guidance... P.S. if you're especially fussy about accommodation do some research before visiting.

I remember the first time when I came to the Clinic. I was almost a bald guy with just a little hair above. I had the skepticism if I was going to return to my old looking again. The look that had a good hair.I did the surgery in the clinic. As days go after that, more positive results show. Since the result was kind going by slow, I had that skepticism about its completion. However, and now--by the end of the sixth month--I can say going to Dr. Serkan clinic is one of the best decisions I had made.The clinic help me after Allah to get about 90% of my hair back. I'm waiting to see more and morre results insha'Allah.The clinc is rated in terms of the faculity working at. The nurses are great. In fact, I I've seen many patients in the clinic, and that is a proof of a grate success.The clinic has a good location as well.

My experience at Dr. Serkan Aygin Clinic was absolutely amazing. The clinic is top-notch — modern, clean, and very welcoming. You can immediately tell how professional and well-organized the entire operation is. What truly stood out for me was the team. Everyone involved in my process was incredibly kind and made sure I felt comfortable and safe at every stage. A special shout-out to the transplant team for their skill and care, and especially to Yasin and Mohamed, who were by my side throughout the whole process. The best thing I did in my life was this and its 100% successful operation After the operation you well see the big difference before and after. I am so happy withe the result. I did 2 sessions and I am very happy day after day it's make me look better and healthy so I would like to thank Dr sarkan and assistant doctor Ali for them time and skills and new technique. They use good stuff and all the medicine they use no side affects and very reasonable price.

My experience starting with the first contact was amazing and very comfortable. The clinic has an amazing team of people working very well together and providing a top notch care. They are also very upfront and direct with information, making sure the the pacient is aware of all related factors and can make knowledgeable decisions on what kind of care to choose. I ended up choosing the advanced treatment program simply because I wanted some extras, and I have been very happy with it, but there was no push for upsell whatsover. Quite on the contrary, I was requesting the information about the additional services by myself. The communications have been great, and everything has been really well organized.

I had a DHI hair transplant at Dr Serkan Aygin Clinic and the overall experience was very professional from start to finish. The coordination, transfers, clinic facilities and medical team were all well organised and reassuring. The team took a sensible, conservative approach by prioritising the frontal area first, which was explained clearly and aligned with my expectations. Communication was good throughout, with translators available at every stage, and post-op instructions and medication were clearly provided. It’s obviously early days for results, but based on the process, care and professionalism, I’m confident in the decision and would recommend the clinic to others considering a transplant.

Recehtly had a hair transplant at this Clinic. Very professional service, English translator/ assistant was arranged and was in constant contact with you. Pick and drop offs from Hotel to Clinic to Airport were arranged with no issues Technicians completing the procedure were friendly and showed good experience, Doctor visited to check in and complete drawing the graft areas and check the operation plan. Additional grafts were extracted for no extra costs which is a plus. Clear instructions on post op care and cleaning / washing instructions were provided - giving you confidence the clinic cares about your aftercare. Too early to tell for actual results.

I had a top-tier experience from start to finish. Even though I traveled alone, I was warmly welcomed by Berk Cetin and Asli, who guided me through the whole process and were always by my side, which made my trip very smooth. All transfers were arranged, I was given a sandwich during the procedure, and even dinner afterward, even though the procedure ended quite late, around 11 pm. After the procedure, I received plenty of information on how to take care of myself once I got back home, including all the necessary medication for the first few days and a full hygiene kit. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

The hotel and food were amazing, and everyone I met was incredibly kind and helpful. A special thank you to Berk Cetin, who made sure I was always comfortable and had everything I needed. I’ve spent over 6 months researching hair transplants. I’ve been back and forth from country to country, from Dr to Dr & from various price points to crazy numbers… I have literally spent days on this and all roads lead back to Dr Serkin. Post the experience I can now say I hit the jackpot 🎰! Every aspect from Inital communication, to pre inductions, planning and procedure was 5 ⭐️’s. If I could give 6 ⭐️ I would. I never leave reviews, but in this case I felt that I owed it to the staff to let the world know what an amazing experience I had along with two of my best friends. Dr. Serkan and his staff were absolutely amazing. From the cleanliness of the office, to the dedication of all the staff members, it made me feel comfortable and confident about what we were about to endure. All I can stay is that I couldn't be happier with the decision we made to fly across the world from Los Angeles to have our hair transplant done with his team. The quality of work is unbelievable!

I was feeling bad due to my hair lost whereas I am 30 yrs only and then I went to Dr. Serkan clinic in Mar 2015---that was great trip gave me the over confidant and satisfaction as well.I really happy with result now (even though still 6 months not completed)Only tablets of Piorin and hair spray Rogaine and that to be utilized every 12hrs by 06 months---after 3 months the result is improved.I recommend this type of low number of medicine and only Ramdan time I have disturbed due to fasting.

The procedure was done with high level of care. After a year and a half and comparing the results with friends who have done similar procedure somewhere else, I can comfortably say that I am pleased with the results.Every one was helpful and friendly in the clinic. It is in a nice area of Istanbul and the roof top terrace has amazing view of the neighborhood. The pick up from and to the airport and hotel were very helpful and they were on time.
