Gennet is a private Czech provider of reproductive medicine, medical genetics, fetal medicine and clinical immunology. It was founded in 1996 by MUDr. David Stejskal as a private centre of medical genetics, added assisted reproduction in 2005 and later fetal medicine, and introduced clinical immunology in 2015. Gennet runs clinics in Prague 1, Prague 7 and Liberec, a genetics clinic in Ústí nad Labem and the GNTlabs genetic laboratory in Prague 5.
Gennet Prague 1 is in the Archa Palace complex at Na Poříčí 26 in Nové Město. Gennet opened the clinic in June 2011 and described it at the time as designed primarily for its international patients. Its IVF department is headed by MUDr. Daniel Alexander, and Gennet's embryology laboratories are led by Ing. Radomír Křen, Ph.D. Gennet states that ICSI is its standard fertilisation method in most IVF cycles and that embryos are routinely cultured to the blastocyst stage on day 5 or 6, with time-lapse monitoring in EmbryoScope+ incubators and AI-based IDAScore assessment available; usually one embryo is transferred. Other laboratory methods include microfluidic sperm sorting (MFSS), vitrification, laser assisted hatching, EmbryoGlue, the ZONA FREE technique, Gennet's own endometrial receptivity test (GERT) and preimplantation genetic testing. Under Czech law, assisted reproduction is available to heterosexual couples in which the woman has not exceeded 48 years and 364 days on the day of embryo transfer.
New patients start with an initial consultation with an IVF physician, in person or online. According to Gennet, first consultation to embryo transfer typically takes four to six weeks, a stay in Prague generally lasts seven to ten days, and a coordinator who speaks English, German or Italian supports patients throughout; care continues until the 12th week of pregnancy. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:00, with Saturday appointments by arrangement. Florenc and Náměstí Republiky metro stations, Masarykovo nádraží railway station and Florenc bus station are within walking distance, and Václav Havel Airport Prague is about 16 km away by road.

After about 10–14 days of hormonal stimulation monitored by ultrasound, eggs are collected in a short procedure, usually under general anaesthesia, and fertilised in the embryology laboratory with the partner's sperm; an embryo is then transferred to the uterus.
Eggs, sperm, embryos or ovarian tissue are vitrified and stored at −196 °C for later use, for example before cancer treatment or when parenthood is postponed (social freezing).
Sperm prepared in the andrology laboratory is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation, which is timed by ultrasound monitoring of follicle growth (folliculometry).
