Ingenes Ciudad de México is the original branch of Instituto Ingenes, a Mexican fertility and genetics group that began with this Mexico City centre in 2005 and now lists 21 branches in Mexico and the United States. The centre occupies the fifth floor of the Corporativo Espacio Santa Fe office tower on the Carretera México–Toluca in El Yaqui, Cuajimalpa de Morelos, at the western edge of the Santa Fe business district. It is open Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.
Ingenes describes the branch as having an operating room, a reception area and waiting room, medical consultation rooms, IVF and andrology laboratories and private recovery rooms, with a multidisciplinary staff of 259. Its specialist list includes physicians in human reproductive biology, gynaecological endocrinology and infertility, and maternal-fetal medicine. The branch offers fertility diagnosis, low-complexity treatments such as intrauterine insemination, IVF with ICSI, and fertility preservation, and Ingenes provides emotional support from fertility psychologists alongside treatment.
According to Ingenes, its laboratories are built with one-piece floors and rounded corners, filtered air, laminar-flow cabinets, anti-vibration tables, a dedicated power plant and round-the-clock alarm monitoring. Each patient's cells and embryos are tracked with identification codes and labelled dishes, and embryos are usually cultured for three to five days before transfer. The laboratories take part in the monthly external quality-control programme run by PACAL, and Ingenes lists a REDLARA Gold seal for its Mexico City centre. Patients travelling from abroad can start with a video consultation, receive a personalised plan before the trip and get guidance on accommodation and transport from a bilingual Spanish- and English-speaking team.
